Steve Ghim loves dentistry and loves to help people. He knows he has one of the best jobs in the world; helping people achieve great oral health and with his passion for art, beautiful smiles. Dr. Ghim grew up in the Northeast but now calls Charlotte home. In and about town you can find him picking up some takeout sushi at Waverly or even snapping up an ice cream cone for something sweet, yep a Foodie.

Dr Ghim and all the hygienist I’ve seen are amazing! They are all super friendly and patient when listening to and addressing concerns I’ve had. In addition the office is always great in terms of following up and ensuring there aren’t any issues post visit. I also really appreciate the hours that the office has and that I can always get in for a 7am appointment so the visit doesn’t interrupt my normal day. I’d highly recommend Dr Ghim.

Dr. Ghim and his staff are truly wonderful! I've been a patient of his for 5+ years now (and yes, I still marvel at the confidence I've gained having his veneers as part of my smile). I do regular checkups every six month and the service has been great every time.
To sum it up in a few words: Very professional, office is welcoming and high-tech, doesn't settle for just "ok" and invests the time to make it perfect ~> I would HIGHLY recommend!!

Dr. Ghim and his amazing team helped me overcome a psychological trauma, result of several bad experiences with dentists since I was a kid, and with them, I was able to lay down in that “scary” chair for the first time without shaking my whole body. I’m not even sure if they knew about this. With couple of visits I was able to relax, and now after… 4.5 years with them, I have no doubt this office is the one and only for me. I’m so grateful for all the special attention, and I know they do it to all of their patients, but I’m not the jealous type ;) haha love

This was the best dentist I have ever had. Everyone was helpful and friendly as soon as I walked in The door. I was seen promptly for my appointment. My dental hygienist Lisa did a outstanding job and was caring and patient and understanding with a positive outlook . Dr. Grim was detailed oriented and easy to talk to. He always puts 100 percent into his work. You will not leave there unhappy . That is a guarantee . Dr. Grim doesn't hurt and always make sure you are at ease and comfortable . When I got my crowns put in he gave me his personal number in case there was any kind of issues

Finding a dentist is easy. There are offices all over South Charlotte. Finding a GREAT dentist is where the obstacle lies. But when you find one, you stick with them. When I first became a patient of and met Dr. Ghim, I was immediately impressed. Here stood a man that breaks the stereotype of what most would expect from a dentist. First impression… - none better. Patient interaction - he describes each stage of the cleaning and points out areas of concern, if any, and the best treatment plan going forward. I am part of the "if any" group. I have been a patient of Dr. Ghims for 2 1/3 years. Each and every visit has been wonderful. He and his staff are interested in you as a life long patient and work very hard to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. They walk to through every procedure before, during and after. Let's face it, going to the dentist is not at the top of everyone's list of fun things to do. It's a necessary evil but going to Dr. Ghim's makes it far more palatable than other dentists that I have used!

Dr. Ghim and his amazing staff are the reason I can feel comfortable again at the dentist office. Having had a horrible dentist experience at a young age that has stayed with me through adulthood, the staff ensures I feel welcomed and part of "their family" as soon as I walk in. We moved here 21/2 years ago and Dr Ghim welcomed my wife , daughter, and myself into the practice. I love going there because just walking in the door is calming. Everyone on the staff makes it a point to… greet you and make you feel as if you are the most important patient Dr Ghim will see. I have anxiety around dental work and since seeing Dr Ghim that has diminished. Dr Ghim does outstanding work so I lucked out in that we found a great dentist and one I actually no longer lose sleep about appointments. What a wonderful dental practice and dentist. Steve Ghim is the dentist. He served on active duty with the Army in Washington, DC working in the Pentagon. You cannot be a dud or a slouch working with patients that include the 4-star generals of the joint chiefs of staff and other luminaries. He even has a photo with one of the big generals hanging in the office.
The office is as modern as they make them. It is clean, attractive, comfortable with tea and sometimes chocolate to snack on while your wait. Everything is digital, so the x-rays are accompanied with color photos of your teeth suitable
