Wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised. Their steamed vegetable dumplings were truly excellent. Also ordered vegetable lomein and it was delicious. I will be back to explore more dishes! (I ate one of the dumplings before I took the picture!)

It's pretty much the only Chinese food I'll get. Never once had a bad experience here and the staff is polite. Would recommend.

Have ordered from Chop Stix for years. Always found the food & service to be good. Recently we ordered Egg Foo Yung, one of our fav dishes , & fried rice. Both were not edible- very disappointed. I'm wondering if management has changed or maybe it was just an off night. Anyone ordered from there recently?

There's nothing particularly fancy about Chop Stix, and that's just how we like it. The food is high quality, the service is top notch, and the prices are extremely reasonable given the generous portions. Excellent neighborhood Chinese food.

Strictly takeout, with good flavors, reasonable prices and friendly service. You can order online and the order is ready when promised. Really tasty ribs, excellent wonton soup.

Still safe. Still clean. Still great prices and food. Try the vegetables with tofu combo or spring rolls. Hubby likes boneless spareribs and shrimp toast. I like the soups. Spring rolls are fresh and lomein is huge enough for 2 or 3 people! Go to this place and support and tip them well!

Food is great. Great for a cozy date. It is the neighborhood's best place for take out Chinese food in the Scardsale Village. Great food, fast, friendly and good variety. Even eating there is nice and cozy. So if you are on the run or want to sit and enjoy a good meal, come to Chop Stix. I have been going there for well over a decade. Consider it! You will not regret it! Go soon. I was there last night. Food is just right.i was here today!!

After several bad experiences with the Chineese restaurant closer to us we were happy to find this spot. The food quality is always consistent and the people are friendly. Give them a shot you won't be disappointed. FYI their hot sauce is amazing. We love it and can't get enough

We always have to place a modified order because of food restrictions and they are so understanding. The food is fresh and easily customizable. This is hands down my bf's favorite Chinese food restaurant so we only order from here. They're also adhering to covid precautions stringently so we feel very safe ordering/picking up food.

We order here at least 1x a week, the owners are awesome and always treat us fantastically. The food is great , we've never had a bad night , we love the soup, fried rice, fried wontons, general tsao , even when I'm on a diet the steamed chicken and broccoli is outstanding and plentiful, all of the portions are large and fairly priced . You can't go wrong here and I wish them well during these difficult times

Perfect. Try them.

When the chinese place I always went to in Scarsdale/Eastchester closed, I was pretty disappointed.

But Chop Stix is better, faster and the people are really really nice. They put extra effort into dealing w a food allergy. And when I asked for something without any spice, they did it perfectly.

There are some sub par reviews here. Bonkers. I grew up in Broolyn and work in chinatown. This is as good, or better, than any other delivery you can find anywhere. And the people are nicer.

Try them.

Tried it for our first time recently via delivery, because apparently our fave Chinese restaurant for years -- Imperial Wok in white plains—has suddenly closed! Chopsticks was HORRIBLE! Food was tasteless, the delivery took forever (the driver just left the food on the doorstep and left), and they didn’t include extras like mustard and duck sauce. And ironically— they didn’t even provide chopsticks!! The place is called chopstix, for chrissake!! Will never use them again. The only plus was their good prices- but it wasn’t worth it even if it cost absolutely nothing.

I had the triple jade with white rice. It is vegetables in gloppy brown sauce. The vegetables were sort of fresh, but the flavor was underwhelmingly subpar. The food was tolerable and filling enough, but I don't plan to eat there again if I don't have to.

Yesterday was our first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the high quality cooking and fine drinks and with the friendly charge. We will definitely visit there soon.

Sesame Chicken lunch special was good as usual, but portion is below average compared to other Chinese restaurants. Price is fair. Drinks are not included with the lunch special. Spent a total of $9 for lunch with the drink. Value is below average. There are many other Chinese restaurants with similar or cheaper prices that offer larger portions and include a drink. Going back to the city where I can get the same food(bigger portion) + a drink for $7.45 If you're looking for better value, look elsewhere. 2/5

Sadly, I'm saying farewell to Chop Stix after decades of loyalty. They're convenient and most things are tasty, but 3 out of the last 3 times when I specified on an online order for pickup "Please, NO WELL-DONE spare ribs," more than half were burnt, some of the ribs could not even be chewed.

Local Garth Rd. Chinese Takout - Chop Stix doesnt disappoint!

I have to say that ive have had a fair share of good and bad Chinese Takout over the years, living in NY all my life. I am always skeptical trying a new takout place. You dont want to be disappointed with dinner, or any meal for that matter.

Chop Stix is a no-frills Takout place worth trying.

While Chop Stix is Not a Gourmet Szechuan NYC restaurant, and doesnt have the 5-Star flavor, its a place i will be returning to for Chinese Takout dinner.

Ordered Chicken w/Brocoli and Fried Rice + Egg Roll ~ $9.75. (Substitute White Rice and

I bought beef with broccoli and it wasn't good at all, it wasn't tasty.

I ordered the lunch special which comes with a roll but to my surprise they didn't give me the roll. I found out about the roll after I was done eating.

I wouldn't recommend this place.

I was walking by there with my grandma one day and I already knew how good the restaurant was, but she didn't. So I ran inside and got her a menu. Everyone was so friendly. They had such good meals and deals. My grandma is a senior citizen and she is now a senior customer at Chop Stix.

Wally Pipp moment. Our original haunt, jade spoon, was out of tofu so we searched for a local alternative. I tried Chopstix years ago, so we gave them a try.

Ordered takeout. The food arrived hot and nothing was left out. Vegetable egg rolls were very good. A little pricier than JS but the quality of food is just as good. Looks like our Chinese food share of wallet just spread out a bit! Will definitely order again.

Chop Stix was our go to place for years but it had fallen on on hard times. Happily it has much improved, the shrimp with curry Thai style was excellent with lots of vegetables including asparagus and eggplant, the spare ribs on the bone were lightly sauced and hot and the Chinese mixed vegetables were all fresh with slices of garlic. The rice was perfectly cooked as well. Overall we were very pleased.

Family favorite, Chopstix is the only place we consistently go for take out. It's Monday night and their phone is rininging non stop, the best running business of Scarsdale.

Recs:
+Chicken chow fun (wide noodles)
+Mapo tofu
+Beef broccoli

The two ladies in charge of taking orders are sweethearts. Always smiling at customers. Even though a man didn't have enough money to pay for his lunch, they let him off in the end and asked that he pay them back later.

No it's not authentic Chinese food, but it's decent enough on days you don't want to cook.

Best general tso's chicken ever. I have yet to find a place that serves general tso's chicken as good as here. It is always crispy, so they must use a special blend for their batter.

The lunch specials are a good deal, but over the years the prices on their menu have increased due to inflation.

Solid place for Americanized Chinese food in Scarsdale...especially if you're on a budget.
