Tash Weddle (CEO and founder of TNB Fitness) started her journey as a high school basketball player in Indiana. After accomplishing her dream of becoming an Indiana All-Star, she went on to play at the collegiate level at both NC State University and The University of Evansville, but her career was one plagued by recurring knee injuries.
We believe in serving our clients well and always overdeliver. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to help our clients reach their goals and potential. Every client is worthy of love and acceptance. That's why we coach from a place of empathy and compassion. We treat every client as the valuable woman she is and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
You will not be thrown a generic 'workout of the day' at TNB Fitness. Your individualized workout program is structured to fit your needs and will consist of the proper exercise selection, volume, intensity and variation to ensure that you are always making progress. Our Nutrition philosophy is habit and lifestyle based.
The combination of our proven training system, high-quality coaching, and women-only model is designed to get results in the fastest and safest way possible. We know how to get results and can help anyone from grandmothers to elite athletes achieve their health and fitness goals. We approach every client individually, sit down with you to do a preliminary movement assessment and learn about your goals before tailoring a program for you.
Everything we do is supported by our stellar coaching staff. We have some of the very best coaches in Nashville which makes our gym a destination facility for women who are serious about their fitness. Coaching is not a hobby for our coaches - our coaches have over 40,000 hours of coaching experience.

This is a stellar place to learn about your body, become more function and more fit all at the same time. I love the women only concept, it makes it a lot less intimidating to get started, foster community and stay committed. The programs are challenging, well paced yet fun. Sign up for a program, you're going to love it!

I've been training at TNB Fitness for over 18 months, and my experience there has been life-changing for me. At TNB, I have always enjoyed fun and challenging workout programs customized just for me, as well as ongoing nutritional counseling, and genuine support and encouragement from my coaches. I have also seen dramatic results in losing weight and gaining strength. TNB truly is my happy place, and I'm so grateful to have such skilled and dedicated coaches in my life. TNB Fitness (The New Beginnings) is a first class program and unlike any other program in Nashville. The owners and trainers bring their expertise from being strength training coaches at Vanderbilt but the unique program at TNB is in the details. They test your mobility and strength and then write a personalized program for you. You can't just walk in and work out. Your coach is with you or watching you at all times. For me, personally, I can't believe I have come so far so fast - and I haven't got hurt along the way!
