Services
FGF was started by Nicholas Butler and began with Cinder Block Bootcamps in Sloans Lake Park and Personal Training at his residence. We partnered with Epicryde and expanded to Personal Training Services in the Rino Art District. Later that year we moved into our own location in the Dry Ice Factory where we currently are today.
At FGF we believe Consistency and Balance are key to achieving optimal health. Located in the Rino Art District of Denver, we currently offer TRX Classes both Indoor and Outdoor. We help clients create a Balanced routine in a safe environment that is focused on Consistent movement rather than intensity.
Need accountability and consistency in fitness and nutrition but only have the time or location to do so from home? Look no further than FGF, our sessions are 30mins long on Zoom and include a variety of exercises targeting the whole body while we discuss nutrition and other areas of life to improve overall health.

Boy oh boy, am I glad I found these folks. I enrolled in the virtual classes; and they are great! Nicholas has put me on track to get back into shape. No gym; no problem. Minimal equipment! I think the best part is the ease of use. I make an appointment, I dial in, and boom. Thank you Nicholas for making my workouts at home effective and fun.

FGF is a game changer. I have been training with Nick for a while. I appreciate his tough love approach and flexibility. Each one of my sessions is specific to my needs and fitness goals at that given time. I like the fact that I can navigate to the studio easily and most of the time I never struggle with parking. I started personal training sessions with Stephanie about 5 months ago and I couldn't be happier with my progress. After suffering from a back injury I felt pretty uninspired and hesitant to exercise for fear of reinjuring myself. I've been going to classes at Fight Gravity Fitness for about 6 months now and love it. All of the instructors are great and give you a lot of individual attention. The best part about the gym is that they offer a variety of different classes - yoga, kick boxing, different HiiT classes and TRX. It never gets boring with all the different class options.

I'm so glad to have found a gym with both a great atmosphere and extremely knowledgeable trainers. The classes are small enough that the trainers are able to offer personalized adjustments and guidelines, which has allowed me to progress way more than I had at any prior classes. Nick, the owner, and the other qualified trainers are constantly changing up the workouts but always maintaining a focus on working each muscle group appropriately. Every class is engaging and challenging for all levels, and there's a really inclusive vibe. Could not recommend enough!

It was late October when I had finally had it being lazy and soft so I decided to look around for a personal trainer. Some background: I had stopped working out consistently about 10 years ago and I was nervous about starting an exercise routine. Nick at Fight Gravity Fitness responded to my inquiry and provided me some background on how he approached fitness. The TRX Classes at FGF are awesome! The time flies by and you get a whole body workout. Nick is positive and keeps the classes entertaining by never doing the same routines twice. I really like that the class size is small and less intimidating then a big box gym. The gym is a hip space that is fun to workout in! I would highly recommend checking out these classes to any fitness level.

When Nick Butler and I first met I explained that over the past ten years I have been through three other trainers and my single complaint and reason for moving on was that each session became rote. I have seen Nick now twice each each week since this past March - NO two sessions have been the same. Of course, we do many of the same exercises (of which Nick has many), but he always mixes it up and keeps it interesting.

I would highly recommend Nick for anyone who is looking for a trainer. I've tried several trainers before and there are three things that set Nick apart. First and most importantly he customizes every workout just for you. Whenever I have a session with Nick, he's clearly mapped out what we're doing which maximizes our time and he keeps the workouts fresh and interesting. Second, Nick is really responsive about modifying workouts when I have an ache or tweak - I appreciate the flexibility and culture of not working through bad pain. I'll start by saying I've literally tried it all- and personal trainers in big gyms is a thing of the past for me. There are no distractions, judgements and pure work and structure with Nick. I am 22 weeks pregnant and was struggling to find someone who could help me gain muscle and stay safe. Nick has a mix each time (TRX, weights, cardio, wall sits, ugh!) After wasting money on gym memberships I never used, I found Nick. Each time I visit his private gym, he's got a new, more challenging workout in store for me. He pushes me pretty hard, but in a positive manner. For the first time, I'm seeing real progress (measurable progress...he checks my numbers every 12 sessions.) I live in the neighborhood and was looking for a new type of workout... I found it! Nick Butler the owner and my trainer mixes workout mediums off all types! I go first thing in the morning and still think it's fun! The hour I spend there flies by!!! When I get home I take my kids to school and am wide awake and ready to start my day.
