When Nina and Consolato Rosania immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1970, they had one sure idea for running a successful Italian restaurant. Established in 1979, Suvio's offered a complete Neapolitan menu specializing in homemade pizzas, calzones, and authentic parmigiana entrees. By the mid eighties, Suvio's had achieved unparalleled success and was awarded the title of "Best Pizza in MorrisCounty" by the Daily Record.
Although Suvio's has changed with the times, adding a more extensive menu and classic seafood entrees, the homemade quality and original family recipes still remain today.

The pizza is good. However, we think we got really sick food poisoning from here twice. The first time we weren’t sure but we ate here again and the same thing happened. I also noticed that employees we’re not wearing gloves while making and handling the food when we went to pick up food. Unfortunately we will have to pass on this place.

We stopped here yesterday with friends after enjoying a beautiful day at the local wine festival. Our friends had driven by on their way to the festival and said they couldn't help but smell the delicious garlic aroma coming from the restaurant. So we knew where we were having dinner...and we were not disappointed. Christina was amazing and treated us absolutely wonderfully. If you like old school Italian food, this is THE place to go! And because we had just come from the wine festival, we bought our own wine in. How great was the "ice bucket" that Christina gave us to chill our white?! We had

Reliably good pizza! The formula has not changed since I first visited this restaurant 21 years ago. If you're looking for a delicious pizza pie or just a slice This is definitely a reliable place to go.
Helpful tip if you like Your pizza a little crispy just ask them to leave it in the oven a little bit longer so that it's very well done. You will not be disappointed.

I've tried at least 5 times. Just average pizza. Kind of bland. Crust is good, nice and crispy but the sauce and cheese is just not that good. If nothing else around and I'm starving maybe then I'd consider it. Most of the other pizzarias close by are better. It's disappointing because they have been around for a while. Perhaps they haven't tried really good pizza. Tried one of there pasta dishes which was ok. But again do you want average food that you walk out disappointed? Then come on in. Sorry Suvios, I really tried.

We are (were) long time customers of Suvio’s, especially for there Sicilian square pie until this came home..
It was supposed to be a Sicilian w/ pepperoni.. It was FLAT, hard (tuff) like the bottom of a shoe, and minimal sauce.. It all went in the garbage, and we ran to grocery store for a frozen pie. Got say the frozen pie was 1/2 the price and hell of alot better ..
We use to eat there twice a week, but not again until they fix this mess ..!

Since quarantine began we've ordered from here at least 4 times. Tonight will be the last. We like the pizza it is usually above average and we like supporting a local business during this tough time but will not be until this ends. The 1 star is for the complete lack of enforcing social distancing and forgoing previous precautionary procedures. All the previous times we have ordered the door is already open and they only allow 1 person in at a time. Picking up this evening no door open and 3 people walked in almost immediately after one another. For the safety of staff and guests I wish they

The crust and dough were fantastic, but that is where it ends. Ordered a margherita pie, regular pies and chicken roll. The margherita was SALTY and with regular mozzarella, not fresh mozzarella?! it was clumped on the dough with chunks of plum tomato tossed on top in some places. The 'chicken roll' - had greasy chicken, roasted peppers and mozzarella. I've never ordered a chicken roll anywhere where it wasn't - fried chicken cutlet, mozzarella and tomato sauce. Aside from the dough and crust all the pizzas were salty and greasy won't be back.

Used to go to Suvio's several years back before switching to a better pizzeria, Anthony's, which has recently closed (was the best pizza in the area!). Some things never change I suppose; ordered two pizza pies from Suvio's and they are fairly undercooked. The dough was white, barely any golden crisp part and was really just cooked enough to eat (the crust was very squishy). Also, I remember the sauce tasting better than it does now-- but it has been several years.
The search for a new pizzeria spot continues.
