NB Taekwondo & Fitness Center

I’ve been going here a few weeks and love my time here! The instructors are knowledgeable and give good feedback, and are attentive to everyone equally. The facility is professional and I love the incorporation of conditioning, self defense, and form work!

This is not just for little ones to learn and start their journey in Taekwondo. I am 48 and started this year as a way to get active while my son who is already a student of Master Johnny and now a brown belt, the value is great, the classes are safe with safety protocols in place for Covid19. I highly recommend this place for any age.

Only one word to describe it, NB Taekwondo is just amazing. I have been taking my three kids there for almost two years, and wow what a great experience it has been. Master Johnny, Mrs. Ann and the whole staff run a tight ship, and manage to keep the kids engaged. All while balancing the art of Taekwondo as well as stressing discipline, respect, team work, self-control and core values, and still having fun. The personal treatment that they provide makes us feel like a big family.
Will strongly recommend to anyone!

Let's start off with this place is amazing! ***** My son is four years old and he's extremely shy. I thought taekwondo would be great for him to meet new kids and learn valuable lessons. This is his third week and I'm absolutely in love with all the instructors. They are kind, caring, and consistent. Whenever my son goes to shut down and doesn't want to participate they are patient and they work with him to get him involved. When he puts up his walls, it is also really difficult on me. I feel sometimes I don't know what to do or how to help get him involved. I get flustered

Super expensive...its good i guess what they teach. but ther are wayyy too expensive..charging for testing, clothes, monthly charges already...

We just started a week ago and my 4.5 year old daughter can't get enough and begs me to go back. This is huge for us as she is a shy and currently is scared of male teachers. The brothers (masters) that teach the class are amazing. They made it so much fun she couldn't resist. She's still a bit shy now but I can see a change coming with three classes a week. She will be her outgoing self in no time! Kids learn so much and the energy is exhilarating. We love NB and will be coming here for years to come.

Master Jimmy and Master Tony are wonderful! I brought my daughter there for an introductory class and they were very welcoming. She loved it! We signed up the same day. Love this place!

This place is long overdue for a review from me. NB Tae Kwon Do is an amazing place. It is run by two brothers and their mother. The vibe here is community.

I am not an expert at Tae Kwon Do but I am a master parent. My son was 4 1/2 when he started and had a horrible temper and enjoyed hitting his sister. My son has been coming here close to six months now and he doesn't hit his sister and is a much better student at school. What more could I say? If I read my testimony I would ask, "Where do I sign?" Our child has had the privilege of being instructed by these amazing athletes. He has experienced such growth in so many aspects; not only physical strength and endurance, also with confidence and respectfulness. NB Taekwondo is highly recommended. It is a very positive place with so much good energy.

My son was first instructed by the two masters at NB Taekwondo at a different school. We had paid in full at my sons old-school, and despite the financial loss we followed Master Tony and Master Johnny to their new school. Since my son began training with them he has increased his confidence self-control and discipline. The masters at NB Taekwondo strike a great balance between the discipline of a traditional Korean Dojon and a fun environment that my child enjoy. The lessons are physically and mentally tasking for my son, and despite the hard work my son is always anxious to attend. Am hopeful

I took TKD when I was a teenager in Chicago and it was a huge confidence booster, and got me healthy, social, and respectful. Plus I got to learn COOL kicks, like in the movies. For the last couple years I got back into TKD and the Nguyen brothers were more than I could ever ask for in a TKD instructor. Training with the Nguyen Brothers was like training with two Bruce Lees. They are at the top of their game, I mean EXTREMELY talented, have a fun and challenging regiment, and help each and every student to improve all aspects of martial arts and in life.
