Dr. Matthew Marc Souza was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Animal Science, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

I had a wonderful experience here with Veterinarian Matt. My 3 year old cat suffers from FIV-he had a flare up for a year which left him congested all. the. time. and let me just say- it was horrible when he sneezed. Dr. Matt put him on the correct regimen and his congestion cleared up in less than two weeks and he hasn’t had any flare ups since. I can’t tell you what a pleasure it’s been having our cat 🐈 healthy again. Highly highly recommend!

Cash cow. Practice apparently has to many customers and not enough staff. In two years they have never been able to see my dog with out an emergency visit. I called the new vet this morning if I wanted my dog seen today it would be an emergency visit cost but went in the computer and found me an earlier appointment. Already the new vet feels good. I do not recommend this place.

Bringing our Dog to McClelland is one of the best decisions we’ve made. They are professional while being kind and caring. Dr. Carrig takes time to explain the care plan and has great insight in what is best for your beloved family pet. We love seeing Rebecca on grooming days and anytime we go! They are all part of our Family Now.
