The bar tender was so rude and did not want to serve us.. She was upset that sat at bar for drinks!...We confirmed with the hostess that we could sit for drinks.. It was the worst experience I've had going out for a drink. We where here in 2020 much better experience then. Skip this place there are other options in Duck

WONDERFUL! We stopped here for lunch overlooking the sound, and fell in love with it! We met Jennifer (the owner) who was so friendly! Interior is extremely neat, clean and organized. Expertly decorated and has fantastic atmosphere. Food was incredible, an absolutely wonderful memory with my family. A+

Nothing better than sitting at a waterfront restaurant that feels like a weekend at the family cabin.
We intended on having dinner, but unfortunately like many other restaurants in the area, there was no room at the inn. We changed our status to drinks and made reservations elsewhere, this decision was made after discovering the outdoor bar in the rear of the restaurant.
Unfortunately its not a full bar and serves a limited drink menu, very limited! If your lucky the line will be short, one person working the bar just doesn't work very well when you have a a beautiful waterfront venue and live

I cannot rave about this place enough.
We showed up ad a party of 6 after trying all evening to find a place to eat that didn't seem to have the same menu over and over lol. They were so kind and doing all they could to fit us in upstairs. We couldn't make it work BUT the downstairs was even better for us and more what we were looking for! The amazing food was "to go" (which came in eco friendly packaging) but they had tables where you could stay and eat, enjoy the bar, AND live music! The view couldn't be beat and the environment was amazing.
The staff exceed expectations!

When coming to OBX, I generally lower my expectations when it comes to dining out. Today was an exception. In my 25 years of coming here, this may have been the best meal I've had. The fish sandwich was perfect, fries likely the best I've had in years, and the hand made magartita mix was perfect. Staff was happy and made all the difference. We will absolutely return at least a few times over the next few weeks.

A wonderful restaurant! The ambience was very relaxing, the TVs behind the bar weren't distracting and there was space for larger parties even in a medium-sized place. Although the low lighting was nice, at some of the smaller tables it's very dark and hard to see the menu even for people with good eyesight. A few more floor lamps or small hanging lights around might fix it. The food was amazing and very filling - we got our order very quickly too! Overall a great experience, would definitely come here again.

This is a really lovely restaurant with spectacular view of the sound! Excellent seafood! The crabcake sandwich was very good. Fried fish, the Rock fish, and the Blackened shrimp was very good also! If you order the Sticky Toffee Pudding, just beware that it is neither sticky nor a pudding, it is a cake! Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
