Shannon's Fitness & Dance is owned by Shannon L. Hockwater, MS. Shannon's Fitness & Dance is a fitness and dance studio located in Cheektowaga, NY. We focus on group exercise classes and small group and private training. Our mission is to motivate individuals to push their limits and reach their fitness goals.
SFD specializes in bootcamp style classes, weight resistance classes, pilates and yoga. We also provide performance training programs and off-ice conditioning to local hockey teams and other sports teams. SFD is the home of the Adaptive Fitness Program for non-typical children and adults. SFD is not a membership based studio and only offer classes by package or drop in, with no additional fees.

Services
Group exercise training is a great way to achieve a great workout in a social setting, where your peers can help motivate you! Research shows that individuals are achieve more success with their workouts if they are motivated and individuals are more accountable if they know their peers are depending on them!
The focus of private training is to help our clients meet their individual goals in a one on one setting. Workouts are customized to our client's specific goals and needs/ restrictions. We also offer pairs training, while at a reduced price, the workout is still designed with the pair's specific goals in mind.
Our fitness program provides sessions in a safe, friendly environment with experienced, certified trainers. The training we provide focuses on biomechanically sound movements that may be modified as needed to best suit the needs of the individual. Our goal is to focus of the physical, mental, emotional and social aspects of the individual as a whole and to help them reach their own individual maximum potential.
Shannon is the undisputed queen of fitness. Her innovation, motivation, unrelenting passion, and boundless energy make her the epitome of an instructor. Her classes are challenging for all levels, but are taught in a way that ensures success for any and every goal. It's hard for me to find someone that can challenge me to the level I need, but Shannon get's it done.

I've been working out with Shannon for about a year now & have had nothing but positive experiences every time I enter the studio. Shannon is not only knowledgeable in her field but makes making you sweat an enjoyable experience through her positive energy. Shannon cares about her clients and made working out something that I now look forward to!
