My approach is one of care, teamwork, and creativity.
I tailor treatment for each person or couple's need. In our work together we will learn to see unhealthy thinking, change hurtful talk, and create coping skills. During couples counseling you learn how to replace unhealthy talk with clear and concise communication. You are taught skills to reduce fighting and develop tools for compromise.

A romantic relationship offers a chance to connect with another person at a deeper level than friendship. As a result, feelings of love bloom and relationships grow. Togetherness stirs up happy feelings but it can also cause hurt. When hurt turns to pain, people become upset thus Couples Counseling, also known as relationship counseling, brings peace and love back into the relationship.
For better or for worse is the promise we make when we marry. Marriage can be challenging. The demands of work and children creates stress which impacts the marriage. When there are not enough hours in the day to take care of everything, most people give up time alone with their spouse. That time is then given to family or to their jobs.
Provides a framework for separating and/or divorced parents to discuss concerns regarding their children and reach collaborative agreements. Divorced parents learn new ways and strategies to approach each other and learn how to become friends now that the relationship has changed. The counseling focuses on helping parents raise their children as a team in a collaborative environment.
Experiencing rapid heartbeats? Feeling worried or scared? Unable to control thoughts? That might be anxiety. Roughly 40-million Americans live with anxiety. Women are three times likely to have anxiety than men (Anxiety Depression Society of America, 2018.) Feeling some anxiety is normal in specific situations.
Mental Health Counseling or Individual Counseling is a type of psychotherapy where you work one-on-one with a counselor to resolve past, present, and future concerns. Anxiety is a future mood state. Many times, you worry needlessly about an event or activity that will happen down the road. A little anxiety can increase performance but when it becomes difficult and tiring it effects every aspect of your life.
