I am an ASE certified Master Mechanic in gasoline and diesel engines with the L1 & L2 certifications for advanced diagnostics.

Recommend corrective and maintenance services and explain to the customer which of these is required now to correct existing problems and which are for preventive maintenance. Obtain prior authorization for all work done, in writing or by other means satisfactory to the customer. Make every effort to keep the customer informed about appointments and completion deadlines.

Best and quickest experience at a repair shop!
Rented a car for what was supposed to be a quick 2hr trip and ended up being 4hrs because of an issue with the rental. The agency had no idea how to help besides having me wait for a tow to drive me the rest of the way. Desperately walked in to Bob’s and within minutes I was out the door ready to drive home safely! Thank you so much!

Thank you for a great experience. I needed my steering column replaced and they did a great job. It works wonderful! While it was in, the starter failed so they fixed that too! Thank you. There was some setbacks on parts being defective so it took longer than expected but I was always called and kept up to date on what was going on and they are very professional and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

One of the hallmarks of great business practice is the ability to practice good recordkeeping. I called Mr. Ken regarding a vehicle that this business serviced TEN YEARS AGO, and Mr. Ken was able to corroborate information I found on a carfax for a vehicle that I own. Not only was he able to corroborate information, but he was able to give me more detailed notes that the carfax did not have on file. Friendly, courteous, professional, and patient are some words I'd use to describe Mr. Ken and his business practice. I would definitely use this service again if I was ever up in this neck of the woods

The muffler and catalytic converter was bad and the warranty company I had for my newly purchased car was balking at paying some of the costs. Barbara from Lil Car was AWESOME! She helped with finding all the necessary parts and worked with the warranty company so that everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend using this company. Love this place!

These people are crooks! This place is a joke! Please get a second opinion or make this place your last resort. They charge way too much and always try to fix more than what's needed. I do not recommend this place for a quick fix. They estimated $4,500 and over $300 for a diagnosis! We refused and took it to a specialist who went over their invoice and compared the actual cost of the parts needed. They were charging us over 3x the actual cost! In the end. Our car is fixed and spent $900 later somewhere else with better work.

Brought my fathers old 1983 F150 to Lil Car Hospital. This truck had hadn't been started in 14 years. I did a few repairs at home and towed it to them. They went through it and got it running in tip top shape. Sounded and drove better than it did 14 years ago. Very fair price for all the work they did.

Horrible, took them my rav4, it wouldn't start. They did their top of the line testing and concluded I definitely needed a new brain box, $2,600 for a new one (right). So the mechanic informed me I could purchase a used one. so I did, thinking they would maybe test it to make sure it worked. Ended up costing me $1000 sure it started and got me home, but that was it, the car never started again! (unethical) bobs had my car over a week.

From Seattle heading to Salem. Tire pressure light came on so pulled over. Checked all tires - pressure ok so went to Lil Car because it's new vw TDI and I didn't want to mess anything up. They are so friendly and pulled my car into a bay - made sure all was well and said it was a sensor. Because it's still under warranty we parted with a handshake and my gratitude! Best. Place!!!! I kept putting off getting my brakes done until after my daughter's wedding. Bob's Lil' Car Hospital squeezed me in the following week and did a great job! Quick, friendly and skilled service made me happy and the waiting room is truly clean! I was told this was an honest repair shop and I'm happy to say they lived up to the recommendation. Saved our honeymoon! In June 2013, my wife and I were honeymooning in Longview, mainly so we could visit the Sloth Center at the Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center in nearby Rainer, for a day of Sloths and other animals, which you all need to do! Unfortunately my car started acting up and was having a bad misfire on the way from Seattle, shuttering and not making freeway speeds, and almost stalling on city streets.
