Services
Serenity was conceived through the appointed blessing of our Heavenly Father and birthed through the vision of Mr. Cedric D. Guy, Proprietor and President. Mr. Guy, formerly of Golden Gate Funeral Home, who is known by most as "Randy" is a well known respected pillar and friend to many throughout the city of Milwaukee.
A funeral is a ceremony for a deceased person prior to burial or cremation. A funeral gives the opportunity for family and friends of the deceased to gather and mourn the passing of their loved one, to share cherished memories and celebrate their life. A funeral is a vital first step to help the bereaved heal after the loss of someone special.
These articles will help you understand something about the grief and how we can help ourselves and others through the difficult process. These articles were written by Dr Bill Webster, our Director of Grief Education, and are part of a comprehensive library available on our Grief Journey web portal.
After a death, there are many legal details to hammer out. While it is not necessary to get a lawyer, it is strongly recommended. A lawyer will make sure all the 't's are crossed and i's are dotted. The time following a death of a loved one is extremely emotional, and even the closest family will have disagreements over the most trivial matters.

Absoultely Horrible!!! No compassion for family, no professionalism. Some flowers mysteriously disappeared within 24 hours from a dozen to only half at funeral.. Director never returns your call even when your paying all cash for services and no one knows anything!! Not a good experience at all.. Would not recommend this place to family and friends and the ones who have dealt with them in the past had same bad experience..

Well first of all Marilyn and Randy were wonderful and not only they walk us through everything for my Mom services in October 2020, but they did everything that we wanted for our Mom. I thank them for everything, because my Mom was buried very nicely and put away as her wishes. Thank you for what you did for my Mom four months ago. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

I love u guys. The greatest funeral home in Milwaukee. I have been to several funeral homes and this one is by far the best. These people have professionalism, style, and patience. They are reliable, on time, and very passionate. They take their and put things in the right perspective order. This team is awesome, a cut above the rest

Serenity Funeral Home Milwaukee is one of the best places to have your beloved services. They are very friendly, they never try to cheat you. They are kind and respectful people. I have had the pleasure of meeting different staff members over the course of about 10 years. They lay the person to rest very well. I must say my love ones looked good. They are so pleasant and professional. Thank you guys for a job well done.

We chose them for my mother-in-law's cremation. Jermaine, the funeral director, was far from helpful or empathetic. He said she wasn't eligible for Title 19 coverage, without even calling to confirm, because she had life insurance. We were told that we had to pay $2,000 out of pocket for a simple direct cremation. We tried to negotiate on price & they were unwilling. We ended up transferring her to another funeral home where they called right away to check & confirmed she was covered by Title 19 & there were no out of pocket costs. Even if she hadn't been, they only charged $595 for direct cremation

We recently lost my sister-in-law and the family could not be more pleased with the service we received from Serenity. We compared two other homes in the area that came highly recommended, but the people we worked with at Serenity and the fact that their services were nearly half the cost of the others led us to choose them for our service. Everything was perfect. The facility is a wonderful old building and it felt very comforting being a part of that history. Their preparation of our loved one was beyond expectation, as was their customer service, support, clear communication, etc.
