Bruskiewitz Funeral Home
The Bruskiewitz Funeral Home has been a family-owned and operated in Milwaukee since 1912. For more than 100 years, the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home, now led by Dan Bruskiewitz, has been meeting with families to guide them in their funeral and memorial decisions with compassion and dignity. Bruskiewitz Funeral Home features four separate funeral chapels for spacious and private services.

All our service is one-on-one and everything is done in-house. In addition to our funeral services, we are one of the only area providers of green funerals. Green funerals are an eco-friendly option for burials and caskets. Please contact us to find out more information. If your reading this I'm sorry for your loss.
Services
Bruskiewitz Funeral Home helps with funeral planning and pre-planning. Funeral pre-planning removes the decision-making burden from survivors by making personal funeral, burial, or memorial choices well in advance of need. You can have peace of mind knowing that your affairs will be in order and that the financial and burial arrangements are all taken care of for your family.
Talking about death and discussing funeral arrangements are often difficult. Yet a death in the family may create problems for survivors which can sometimes be alleviated by pre-planning funeral services. By pre-planing a funeral service you can remove an emotional burden from those you love. You have the ability to express your own memorial and funeral service wishes, and often relieve the financial burden from those you love.
Most cemeteries require that caskets be placed in an outer burial receptacle capable of withstanding the weight and pressures of the earth above and surrounding the receptacle. Our Merchandise Selection Room provides samples of vaults and other outer burial containers for each family to preview and make their selection of choice.

Very disappointed there was no efforts made to encourage wearing masks or social distancing. No reason to keep chairs right next to one another. Funeral director, workers, failing to wear masks. Not the way to get repeat business.

Thanks to Bruskiewitz for their help and guidance. Dan was always available, and handled all concerns immediately. Their help allowed us, the family, to focus on our loved one and the tasks we had.

I cannot say enough! Mike is so kind and compassionate. His attention to detail is amazing. I thought of something during the funeral that we didn't talk about and it had already been done! The funeral was so much more than I could have imagined. I felt my Mom was honored in such a beautiful way. If I had a "do over" there would be absolutely nothing I would change. i would absolutely recommend Bruskiewitz Funeral Home.

If your reading this I'm sorry for your loss. We live a hour away and when my mother in law passed at st.lukes my wife and I had no idea where to go or what to do about where to take her. We called a few other local funeral home's before we spoke with the funeral director Dan. What a amazing person ! He was so beyond anyone we've ever met. I could go on and on praising this man for hours but to keep it short. It's hard enough to lose someone you love then the burial process and money money money. Dan never pushed the finance aspect. He helped my wife and I go through one of the hardest times of

The personnel could not have been more helpful, caring, and professional. My father passed away outside of the country. The team at Bruskiewitz Funeral Home worked with a Funeral home outside of the country to get my father’s remains back home in a timely manner. They also planned a wonderful memorial and were very helpful with details that I would have forgotten. My Mother (widow) cried with relief when my father’s remains came home. I will recommend their services whenever possible.

My grandmother had her funeral service here last week. Her family has used Bruskiewitz since they opened, so there was no question that she would have hers here, too. After reading some of the other poor reviews, I felt obligated to post because my experience planning and attending my grandmother's funeral could not have been better. The staff was friendly and helpful in all aspects, even going out of their way to deliver and donate the flowers to various locations of my family's choosing. The facility was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The furnishings are dated, but I liked that

HORRIBLE is the only word I can use to describe the overall experience with this funeral home. My uncle decided to use this home since he had used it for his father and mother's funeral many years in the past and it was close to his home & cemetery. My family was helping him since he is now elderly and has difficultly hearing and understanding. My impression is that they are more about the "business" than the business of caring. The business office/meeting was cold, unprofessional and certainly not a comforting presence in making the many choices you have in the funeral process
