Dr. Daniel P. Jones specializes in "Painless Dentistry". He believes that making the dental experience as comfortable as possible is a key element in empowering each patient to take an active role in their oral health. His conservative approach to dental problems and his emphasis on painless dentistry, combined with the most modern treatments and technology, provide the most comprehensive and comfortable dentistry possible.
Dr. Leslie-Anne Fitzpatrick-Bennett is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Prior to dental school, Dr. Fitzpatrick attended Columbia University in New York City, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Environmental Sciences and a minor in French, as well as a Masters degree in Public Health.
We bet you know the saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." At Smile Beautiful Dental, we've got our own saying: "Two dental exams a year keeps the cavities away!" Okay, it doesn't quite rhyme as well, but it gets our point across well enough. Alongside your daily brushing and flossing, regular dental exams and cleanings are vitally important in keeping your teeth healthy, strong, and looking their best.
Believe it or not, a child's first trip to the dentist can be fun, painless and enjoyable. A child does not necessarily come into this life with a fear of the dentist. However, like the rest of us, a young person can fear the unknown. At our office, we make a special effort to use language that is friendly and easily understood.
A root canal is, in essence, a last-chance procedure to save a severely decayed or infected tooth. Why is it called a "root canal?" This refers to the area within the teeth where the nerve and pulp are located-and which often the source of growing decay and pain. The nerve and pulp must be removed if the rest of the tooth is to be saved.

Dr. Dan and the entire team are not only great medical professionals, but they are so kind in dealing with concerns and anxieties about procedures. Everyone you deal with in the office is just the nicest! They explain things clearly and genuinely listen to your questions! They are working so hard to keep everyone COVID safe, I felt very comfortable being in the office with my mask off for care. The best dentistry experience of my life!

Dr. Daniel Jones is incredibly snarky and rude. He may have good training and he seems like he's solid with his knowledge at what he does but he's just not good at connecting with people, making them feel comfortable and relaxed. His remarks will catch you off-guard because this is someone that clearly thinks everything is a joke.
Dental work can be quite painful - both financially and physically, so it's imperative to be professional and polite always. If you decide to go to this office, seek out the other dentist. Trust me that you won't

Dr. Dan is a wonderful dentist: he does amazing cosmetic dentistry work, and his staff is very considerate and professional. When I moved to DC, I searched for a long time to find a dentist that I trusted. Reading Google reviews about Dr. Dan and his staff is what lead me to his practice—I’m glad I found his office!

This is by far the best dental establishment I have been to. Every staff member from the technicians to the front desk are so considerate, kind, and attentive. The establishment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Just recently, I had a procedure done where I became very anxious. Both the dentist and the assistant provided such a relaxing environment, which made the experience quick and efficient. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Smile Beautiful Dental for almost 3 years. The staff is extremely friendly. Dr Jones is awesome. I have been getting some major work done on my teeth. They have worked closely with me on expenses. No surprise charges. I have had 2 emergency calls where Dr. Jones was quick to respond. The staff and Dr. Jones go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend them to all my friends.

Solid convenient service. For example, X-rays, exam, and cleaning all done in same chair. No shuffling from room to room. Different people come in and out to do their specific part.
Everyone very professional and efficient. And friendly.
A few reviews mentioned products being pushed on them, but they didn't even try to push any services or extra treatments on me. No mention of whitening or adult fluoride, or 'deep cleaning' so if they suggest it for you then you probably need it.
Made some suggestions for overall mouth health and sent me on my way.

If they offer a discount on Zoom whitening.. It's not a discount.. You're actually paying the full price of A lesser form of Zoom.. You're not getting a discount at all. Its a promotion.
Honesty goes a long way and will enhance long-term business.

I'm very happy with Smile Beautiful Dental. Dr. Fitzpatrick is an amazing dentist. She and the staff worked diligently to assess, diagnose and treat my many dental issues (extraction, root canal, crown/bridge work, scaling). Every time I visit, the staff is polite, professional and accommodating. The office is very modern and welcoming. They make going to the dentist anxiety and stress free. I highly recommend Smile Beautiful Dental.

There are many pros about this dental office so I want to start with those. The office is new and very beautiful! The staff has always been very professional and nice whenever I call or come into the office. I really enjoyed Dr. Fitzpatrick and she made the dental experience great. The reason that I have to take off stars and wouldn't come back is because of the billing. I have really great dental insurance and even the billing staff commented how great my coverage is. But I've had the hardest time dealing with billing, being overcharged and finding out what the real price is.

This is the place for you. I appreciate the time they took to welcome me as a new patient and connect me with all the info I need. Their questions were thorough and they gave me a lot of advice for improving my habits. (Who knew Sensodyne was so awesome? Apparently I missed that memo.)
Dr. Fitzpatrick and her staff were kind, welcoming, and effective. I particularly found their photos of my *failing* fillings very helpful.
The space & location are fabulous (I LOVE SW DC) and right across the street from the Waterfront Metro station. Head down the same block to the CVS for your new toothpaste

Dr Dan and his staff are OUTSTANDING. I just had 3 teeth removed and a new bridge put in place with absolutely no pain during the procedure and NO swelling after the procedure. I didn't even use any of the pain pills he prescribed.
My wife and I have been going to Dr Dan for almost 10 years and we will continue as long as we are around!!

I LOVE the dentist. I especially LOVE this dentist.
This isn't a dentist, it's a medical mouth spa! You're treated like royalty and the space is amazingly and calmingly appointed. None of that blinding fluorescent light ricocheting against sterile white walls to blind you.
Everyone has fantastic bedside manner and they keep rubbing Vaseline into your lips (damned matte shades I love so well!) so you don't get dry and cracked as they work on you.
Skillful practitioners who EXPLAIN what they're doing, why there're doing it and what is happening in your head!

This was my first time visiting this dentist and I left the office extremely satisfied. I highly recommend booking your next appointment with them. Such a calming exam room and the amenities are great! The staff is very pleasant and the location is convenient. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but the Waterfront metro is just steps away.
