Updated November 2019: Still very clean,
not crowded, with good equipment and some great upgrades. Most of all the people
Here and friendly and want you to get in the best shape of your life. A gem!

FANTASTIC small gym with affordable personal training. Easy and friendly environment for older clients but anyone of any age will feel comfortable here. Clean, modern equipment and very nice staff. Good selection of cardio machines, weight machines, and also free weights. There is a good squat rack.
It's quiet and organized, there are no grunting "bro" bodybuilders

Hello there. I am a resident of Sumner Highlands, the condo community just across the street. I was talking to some of the other tenants and we always see that your gym is completely empty every single day. We agreed that it was due to the excessive monthly fees. I mean, there is no other gym around that has fees that high ($93 per month). If the owner was considering doing some kind of deal for the nearby residents of Sumner, then I know I would, along with several other residents would be willing to sign up for the gym. Just wanted to let you know what the nearby communitys opinion was. Thanks

If you're serious about working out, this is not the place for you. While it appears that the rehab/recovery services are pretty good, there are a few rules that make it a bit difficult to, you know, "exercise." I was scolded on three occasions while attempting to work out. The first time, it was for "running too loud." The second time, my offense was "squeaky shoes." the third time, I was thrown out of the gym for sweating. Yes, I received a letter regarding my "deplorable" behavior after my sweat made contact with the gym floor. I was charged $279

I have been a member at Sumner Fitness for the past 2+ years. It's a small boutique gym which I like because it's not overwhelming and intimidating like a lot of big chain gyms (I'm not a big gym rat but go about 2-3 times a week). It's never crowded to the point where I have to wait for a machine or fight for space. The bathrooms are spa-like and clean. The elliptical machines/treadmills/bikes all have personal televisions which is great too. As an added bonus there is a physical therapist, Josh Dickstein, on site who is fantastic if you have back problems like I do!
