Calaveras Veterinary Clinic is an animal hospital in Milpitas, CA with a unique brand of veterinary care that places emphasis on thorough preventive medicine for our patients and better education for our clients. We also drive home the point that an animal hospital should never be a stressful place for pets-especially cats.

With their particular care needs, cats demand a different veterinary experience to dogs, and we have molded our practice into a cat-friendly space. In fact, we're Cat Friendly Certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Our veterinarian and staff believe every pet's experience at the vet should be a positive one!
Services
Our veterinarians in Milpitas are a dedicated bunch, supported by an equally committed staff. We're proud to serve this community and look forward to getting to know you! Dr. Bajwa has been working as a veterinarian since 2009 in the Bay area of California.

He earned his master's degree in Animal Reproduction in India in 2005 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree here in the States after completing a one-year clinical program at Oklahoma State University.Formerly, Dr. Bajwa worked as a veterinarian in Vancouver City in Canada before moving to California to become an associate veterinarian at our hospital.
Calaveras Veterinary Clinic has made a commitment to cats and their care by becoming a certified Cat Friendly Practice. What this means is that we take your cat's specific care and considerations in mind to provide a stress-free, calming environment for them (and you, too!). Cats can come to our Milpitas cat hospital to receive gentle care in a calming environment.
At Calaveras Veterinary Clinic, knowing that you and your pet had the best possible experience at our hospital is important to us. Our core mission is to provide the best care for your furry friends, and to expand our circle of care to as many patients as possible. Our belief in a caring, compassionate world for all animals is strengthened with each new patient.
Preventing illness is just as important, if not more so, than treating it. Illness takes more than a physical toll on your pet, it drains them emotionally, too. Then, there's the drain on your wallet that comes with costly treatments. Preventive care has its costs, too, but they are far below the treatment of periodontal disease, feline leukemia, or leptospirosis.
Your pet's health and wellbeing rely on a consistent vaccination schedule. Cat and dog vaccines protect them from dangerous, highly contagious diseases by stimulating their immune system to recognize and subdue the virus. At Calaveras Veterinary Clinic in Milpitas, we work with you to determine the appropriate cat and dog vaccinations for you and your family.

I chose this place because my vet has no availability in next two weeks. The service was OK but the price is at least 30% higher than other places. The vet is trying to persuade me to let my dog take many exams/vaccines/tests, and I felt like he was a salesman rather than a vet. I don't think I'll go back again.

This place just wants your money. I am a new dog owner and was trying to be responsible and take the best care of my new family member. I just moved to the area and wanted to establish a new vet for my dog. He was 10.5 MONTHS old when the vet told me he needed a dental cleaning.
I trusted Dr. Bajwa to take good care of us especially me being new to owning a pet and I'm clearly still learning. I found out by one of the front desk receptionist after check out that the dental only took 5 min because my dog has no tartar build up and that all my dogs adult teeth haven't even fully grown in yet.

Provided extra treatment just to up the bill. Never discuss with us on what treatments will be provided, nor how much those treatments would cost. After checking online to see how much other people pay for the same treatments, which are between $100-$200, we feel cheated, because we paid twice that!!! Stay away from this place. Did I mention poor customer service? It's about the worst customer service you can get. We just needed the treatment/visit notes for insurance purposes, and we were told the vet is too busy and can't provide it in a timely manner. Well, if that's the case, have less visits

Dima is amazing!!!!!!! I was reluctant to turn my pet over to anyone due to the fact that I treat my cat like the child I never had. She made me feel comfortable with her services. Her apparent love for animals shines through.

Dr Anderson, pet nurse Dima and their staff treat your pet as they would their own!
We have been coming to Dr. Anderson for well over 20 years.
We have a frenchy a very special breed not easy to care for HOWEVER, Dr A and Dima have ALWAYS given her the special attention and love she requires when she is there.
Their prices are fair and quality of service and care is exceptional!
