An unlikely but surprisingly well diner. We came in for a vacation and stayed at the best western next door. After two days of mediocre seafood on the beach we decided to settle on a light dinner, and everything we had exceeded our expectations. The chicken Marsala was super flavorful, the oak burger was hearty and fresh, and the blackened halibut tacos were on par with everything we had on the wharf, at a fraction of their price. This may not be a place for a big night, but their food and service is proper and above their pricing. Will visit again before we leave.

Very clean, friendly staff. Drinks are good and so is the breakfast. I only had a morning mimosa without OJ, so just sparkling wine😉

What a surprising treat! Came here for lunch to get quality food and avoid crowds. The atmosphere is quiet, comfy and green. The service was great and oh the FRIED RICE! It's delicious with their in house cured bacon. Highly recommend. The pork buns were a special treat to find and very good. The bacon waffle was delicious as well, made with high quality ingredients. It was a great experience.

Excellent food and service. It is a restaurant at the Santa Barbara Best Western hotel, but it is also frequented by locals. The food is always fresh and good quality. Really good bakery counter with homemade dessert items: brownies, cheesecake, apple tart. Yum!

On our way from Monterey to Ojai, we visited for our breakfast. This place has great reviews, but we weren't sure because not many are reviewed.
When we entered the parking lot, the restaurant belongs to Best Western.
So clean and cozy environment.
I ordered Veggie omelet with the side of sweet potato. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty.

First time coming here, we are just visiting out here from Palm Springs. Came here for lunch , it was delicious! Great food and great healthy food choices here . I had the bbq chicken quesadilla it was bomb . And had breakfast the next day. Breakfast was delicious as well You can tell the food is freshly cooked and well prepared . Great food , great service .

This coffee shop is my haven of tranquillity! After a long day at work, I like to stay here and just let time pass while resting on their comfy sofa and sipping a good cup of my favorite matcha. All of the employees here are kind, and they all smile as they greet you. I'll definitely return and suggest it to all my coffee-loving friends!

Came here for brunch after staying in the nearby Best Western - they have a huge menu, which seems to be polynesian themed. I got the bacon fried rice which was really tasty - some of my other friends got benedicts and french toast that looked awesome too. Quick service also

Delightful cozy spot, where you eat next to tweeting birds and lots of plants.

Came here for SB Burger Week for their banh mi burger and my goodness was it delicious! I especially liked the sauce they used plus the veggie slaw gave a good crunch to the burger! The fries were also well seasoned and tasty, definitely going to be come back here to try some more things!

When I ordered my burger they asked how I wanted it cooked & that it came with a side dish, amazing! Well worth the price.

They also wrote these cute notes for everyone's order! How sweet is that?! The customer service was amazing! And they also have this cute big bird cage near the front of the restaurant

Amazing food and outstanding customer service! We love their curbside service and the online ordering is easy. Our favorites are the ahi salad or BLT for lunch, and the chicken piccata for dinner. This is such a hidden gem and you need to check it out!! So delicious!!!

I wouldn't normally frequent a restaurant attached to a motel and wouldn't have thought to try Live Oak Cafe had I not seen rave reviews on a "support local business" Facebook page. We have since ordered from them a few times during these COVID times. Parking and pick up is super easy. The food is fantastic. We have had an array of entrees and enjoyed them all. They are closed for the holiday (through 1/3/21) but should reopen on the 4th per their website. We have enjoyed the mushroom pot pie, tacos, calamari appetizer as well as soups and salads.

We are all well aware of how 'abnormal' 2020 has been. My family usually celebrates with a homemade Thanksgiving dinner on Black Friday. We didn't have much planned for the actual Thanksgiving evening. I had seen in the Santa Barbara Independent newspaper that Live Oak Cafe was among local restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinner this year. We wanted to support a local business while staying at home. Due to Covid precautions, instead of providing dine-in, Live Oak Cafe had individual Take-Home & Bake Pot Pie Dinners. My bud and I were staying at the Best Western Plus, which is blessed to have a conveniently placed restaurant that happens to be really good! The Live Oak Cafe is located right on Bath Street and on the same property as the Best Western Plus. If you're staying at this hotel and are in search of good breakfast without going anywhere you're in luck.

Got takeout from here twice since I was at a clinic session across the street all day. Everyone at the clinic was saying how this is their go-to when ordering out!

Had the bacon avocado omelette sans bacon for breakfast. Came quickly and tasted good. Seasoned well but your standard omelette.

For lunch got the grilled salmon salad. The lemon dressing was great and it was overall, really filling. Salmon was cooked very well and was still warm when it got to me. The cucumbers, edamame, and spinach tasted super fresh as well. Great little spot!

Just had a fabulous quiet lunch in the back courtyard facing the hotel pool during happy hour. Lovely energy. Great decor and stain glass artsy windows. Happy indoor plants and succulents.

My gf had a great ceasar salad with avacado. Quality live oak lemonade (alcohol) drinks. Loved the chicken sandwich special with pineapple and bacon! Big fan 🤩
