Deborah had the pleasure of moving with her husband and two young boys from Long Island, New York to the beautiful Crystal Coast 31 years ago. Once she experienced life here for a few months, Deborah immediately called North Carolina "home". Deborah brings over 23 years of remarkable dental assisting experience.
For over 20 years, Dr. Aubrey Myers has provided her patients with exceptional preventive, general, cosmetic and reconstructive dental care. A native of Louisiana, Dr. Myers received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1998. Dr. Myers has an extensive dental background comprised of practicing general dentistry throughout Southeast Virginia and Coastal North Carolina.
Dental concerns range from minor to complex and should always be addressed by our dental care team as soon as possible to minimize the risk of developing secondary complications. If you can eradicate your bad breath with a thorough brushing and flossing, you most likely do not have to worry. However, it is important to know that chronic halitosis may be an indication of a more complex dental health concern. The presence of an odor and/or a metallic taste in your mouth that persists regardless of oral hygiene could be an indication that you have developed other dental or overall health concerns.
If your gums bleed on a regular basis, it may be an indication that you are developing a more complex oral health concern. Bleeding gums are not normal, and if persistent, should be examined by Emerald Isle Smiles dentist Dr. Aubrey Myers as soon as possible. Red, swollen, tender or bleeding gums are often indicators of an oral bacterial infection known as gum disease or periodontal disease.

I relocated to Salter Path and hadn't chosen my dentist yet. I had a dental emergency and contacted EIS. The office staff scheduled me in a timely manner and Dr.Aubrey and her dental assistants did a wonderful job.
Everyone has been welcoming and professional.

Visiting from Richmond and chipped a tooth...again. This is the third one and the third Dentist to repair one. I was incredibly impressed. I felt like family even though they new I was only visiting and not a potential long term customer. The equipment and professional ability of this office is phenomenal. Dr. Meyers skills are incredible. The best repair job I have had...by far. My wife and kids all agree. They, nor I, can tell the front tooth was severely chipped. Highly recommend. Only down side is my 8 year old daughter said she kind of liked pretending her dad was a pirate.

Would recommend this office to anyone and everyone!! The doctor and her staff really put their patient's care and needs first. This is a place you feel very welcomed and cared for every time you walk inside this office. Always very nice, neat, and clean at this office. This is the most friendly and pleasant dental office me and my family have been to. We always look forward to going for our dental appointments because of the care and quality we receive from the doctor and her staff!! You all are awesome and very appreciated!

I am a retired Canadian surgeon and recently whilst on my yacht in Beaufort I fractured a tooth. I called the Emerald Isle dental clinic and was received charmingly and immediately given an appointment although the clinic was fully booked. I received quite outstanding service from Dr. Myers and her staff. The dentistry was of the highest standard that I have ever experienced. I even had a crown manufactured in the clinic in 45 minutes. I can most thoroughly recommend Dr. Myers and her staff.

This was my first visit to Aubrey Myers, DDS and I was very happy. Everyone at the office was friendly and helpful. I got a reminder call for my appointment and when I came in they were already expecting me. I had to get new xrays and they did them with little to no discomfort. I also had a normal cleaning that was thorough before Dr Myers came in and checked tooth by tooth. I highly recommend this Dentists office and staff. Great Job!!

Hi, I am 68 years old and have always had problems with my teeth. When I was very young my mom took me to Duke for free, so I think I was always with a learning Dentist.or being experimented on..I still have nightmares about that experience...
As I have lived and traveled all over and have been to many different dentist...I have had some good and bad dental experiences...including the military in the 1970's OM-Gosh ...the worst...
However, after not going to the Dentist for a long while, I needed a lot of work on my teeth ...EI Smiles has been the best dental experience I have ever experienced

I have been having my teeth cleaned every six months for the last several years and I've had both crowns and restorative fillings done at EI Smiles. Dr Myers and her staff have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. I am in my seventies and I have been going to dentists all my life. I am very impressed by Dr. Myers' practice. In particular, Sheila has done most of the preventive cleaning that I have had done and she is not only pleasant but thorough. Deborah is also extremely professional. I highly recommend this group to anyone searching for dental services in the Bogue Banks area.
