We don't have enough good things to say about this group. They're so accommodating and look out for your pet and you, not their bottom line which ends up helping their bottom line. They have a repeat customer for life. Even people without pets should go here! I absolutely LOVE these folks. Dr. G is an amazing doctor who shows so much love and compassion for all of his patients.

We try to give a fair and accurate estimate of fees prior to service and to inform you of any changes as treatment progresses. Preventive dental care is one of the most neglected areas of pet health. Periodontal disease begins with bacterial accumulation on tooth surfaces and progresses to severe tissue destruction, which can potentially lead to tooth loss and sometimes dramatic consequences such as jaw fracture and systemic disease.

While doing this we try our hardest to only use what we feel will be 100% necessary and helpful to our patients and clients. Tualatin Animal Clinic is the best place. They truly care about their clients. They recently assisted me when my two small (one is tiny!)terriers fought a 20lb raccoon. They were awesome at calming me down, and they gave my babies the best care. Two staples and some antibiotics and everyone is all better. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

We switched to this vet when my little Angel was diagnosed with Addisons. We wanted better care and this vet was recommended by a friend who's dog also had Addisons. We all are very happy with the care here. I can call and ask all sorts of questions and they'll get back to me with an answer. My pup has issues fairly frequently, due to being a purebred. But they always care for her so well and listen to all my concerns, worries, and over protectiveness with patience. They recognize her and greet her each time. My dog, while always anxious with visits, still loves on them . I highly recommend Tualatin

Embarrassing to say, while I've always had pets, I rarely if ever go to the vet. That may change. I liked this one. The people at this clinic were friendly to me, my husband and my cat. The cat was thoroughly examined, given some shots and some advice. We had some questions. They were easily answered. Our visit was surprisingly affordable too.

We have an 11 year old black lab that Dr Ghetea found and removed a 12lb tumor from his belly. From beginning to end Dr Ghetea was amazing. His love and care and talent during surgery for our lab was beyond what most vets would take the challenge to explore. I am so very proud to recommend anyone to put their trust and pets care in this fine Dr and his practice.

Terrible customer service! I made an appointment that was booked two months out to bring my cat in for a minor surgery. They called and canceled a week prior, and said they'd call me soon to reschedule, and that'd I'd be put back first on the list. Two weeks went by, and they called back to reschedule, of course it was going to be two more weeks before they could get her in. Literally less than one hour prior to this second appointment, they called and left me a voicemail saying they had to cancel AGAIN, and they'd call me soon to reschedule. After two weeks, I got irritated

This clinic beats all clinics!!! I was told by multiple vets I would have to put my 17 year old dog down because he couldn't survive surgery. The amazing vet there took a look and within 2 hours had removed the tumor, cleaned his teeth and kept him happy and alive through it all. He only charged $125 for surgery I was told would cost up to $3000. If you want an amazing, loving, and affordable doctor for your furry babies, look no further you have found the best.

The absolute best. Dr.Ghitea and his team have been so amazing, kind, and helpful throughout this process of having to say goodbye to my cat. Every time we had to bring her in I knew she was in good hands and I could completely trust them. It's unfortunate that such a reasonably-priced, caring veterinary clinic has to be given such a low rating, but I really want readers to understand before they set up care with this clinic how VERY difficult it is to get an appointment when your pet is sick. Once you've established care, one would think that you could call when your pet is ill even with common problems like an ear infection and get into see a doctor. No matter how urgent or simple the issue, they are always 2-3 weeks out in scheduling and have often said, 'your welcome to see the emergency room'. Who can afford

The personal attentiveness to every person and animal that comes through their door is absolutely astonishing.

This is by far the best veterinary practice that we have used for our pets and we've lived in three different countries. The whole team are wonderful.The vets practice common sense medicine and are supportive and knowledgeable. Dr Gitea was so caring when we had our cat put to sleep and he is also so patient with our nervous border collie. Our dealings with Dr Nelson have been great too. A truly excellent practice.

I can't say enough about how great this clinic is! All of the staff are very knowledgeable and have helped me over the phone as well as in person with all sorts of issues that a new pet parent might run into. Their hours are flexible and all of the doctors I've seen are very friendly. Everyone takes the time to listen to my concerns about my dog and provide very thorough examinations. I have never felt rushed or like a "number" here. The office is inviting and cozy. I think my dog actually enjoys coming here! Or at least he gets excited about the treats at the front counter

We took our 1 year old cat that we adopted a few months ago to the vet for the first time, just to establish care, and we are so glad we chose to go to the Tualatin Animal Clinic. We met Dr. Art Ghitea, and he was amazing! Dr. Ghitea was very friendly and knowledgeable; he answered all of our questions and was gentle with our cat, Delaney. We also needed to get her claws trimmed a little, but wanted him to show us how to during this visit. Not only did he show us, but he didn't even charge us for the claw trimming because it was our first time, and chalking it up to a "learning experience

Love, love, love this clinic! I've been taking my animals here (dog and cat) for at least the last 5 years (or more) after my mom started taking her pets here. I live in Hillsboro, so it's quite a drive, but worth it! They are open Saturday's which is helpful for me! But the main thing, is how great they have been with my pets. Dr. Ghitea saved my cat twice after having a urinary tract issue. We have also had to put two of our family dogs down, and both times they have given us plenty of time to say goodbye, and have even sent notes to us after the fact. The rest of the staff is

Dr Nielsen and her tech were outstanding. We have an extremely stubborn and "bucking bronco" type corgi at the vet. He absolutely hates it and gets sooooo nervous. He had an ear infection and we had no wait, the vet got the ointment in (with her assistant and me holding him down with a muzzle) and outlined plan of care within minutes. I'm blown away by how caring and quick they were! In and out in under 20 minutes. I highly recommend this clinic, especially for stubborn dogs who hate the vet!!

My husband and I love this clinic. Dr. Ghitea always takes his time with our animals and never tries to pressure us to run unnecessary and expensive tests. He always remembers us and our animals and makes us feel welcome. The entire team is fantastic and the good doctor also has impeccable taste in movies (in case you were wondering).

Took my cat Sochi here this morning for the first time. This place is top-tier as far as care for both animals and their caretakers. It's also reasonably priced. It's nice to feel like you are doing the very best you can for your pets while simultaneously taking the reality of finances into consideration. They have a nice fireplace and Christmas tree up in the waiting area, and also a Kuerig coffee maker and some television. I made a hot cocoa for myself and my friend that drove me. That is a really nice touch, it made a stressful experience feel a bit nicer and calmer. The environment

Friendly, caring staff that really put in the extra effort to make your animal comfortable. Very competitive pricing (excellent prescription med pricing, best I've found in Oregon!), and the surgical procedures for our cats and dogs have had no concerns and all healed even better than expected.
The owner Art has always remembered us and inquired about the health and wellness of our companions. Couldn't recommend a clinic more than this one out of my past 30 years of taking our animals to the vet. This clinic and its staff are the best in the business!

What a wonderful homey vet clinic!!!! We took our 11 year old mixed dog here because we just moved from California and we wanted to establish a new dr for Dante. We had a few concerns on the list (who am I kidding we had a novel of concerns, I'm a worried pet owner with an old dog). Dr Audrey Nelson addressed all our concerns and eased my anxiety. Dante has also been on meds for arthritis and thyroid issues and Dr Nelson said she would refill his meds no problem.
Very happy with the cleanliness, friendliness and the price of this clinic, definitely happy we moved from Bay Area to Oregon!

Where do I begin?! They have wonderful appointment availability that has always worked well with my schedule. It probably takes me 25 mins to get there as I live in North Portland but it's worth it. The office is inviting- gives off living room vibes and even has a keurig and fun books to look through The entire staff is exceedingly nice. Dr. G is extremely thorough and explains every step of his thinking, helpful tips about what to look for in regards to health indicators for your dogs as well as what you can do about managing their health. His advice
