Pleasantly surprised!
I've tried different rolls and cuts of sashimi and I must say this is the only place in town that I can't tell if the fish they used was frozen or not. Everything they served me tasted and felt fresh. Although it was a bit expensive it was very high quality and with speedy service. Will diffidently come again.

This has been a family favorite for years now! Absolutely incredible food and service! I will be a regular at this restaurant for as long as I live in rapid! The only down side, is that after covid, the hours seem really sporadic so it's difficult to make it into the restaurant. It feels like every time I want to come in, they're closed. Other than that, I've never tried anything I didn't like, and I've never been served poorly. Keep up the fantastic work!

This place is amazing, but could be better at times. I've been here about 4 times to be exact and will say that the yum yum sauce does hit in a exponential way that none would predict. The only reason why I'm giving 4 of 5 is because when someone asks for medium rare, he wants it medium rare, not raw. This has happened twice and I don't know if the hibachi guys wanted to get through their shift as fast as they could, but nonetheless, food is still good

This review is based on my being there during happy hour. I was pretty skeptical trying a sushi place in RC let alone in the mall! They had about a half dozen rolls on the happy hour menu. I chose my standby spicy tuna expecting some ground tuna stuff but it was wonderful fresh pieces of tuna served beautifully! I have paid $12 in some places and this $5 roll was every bit as good! Since the rolls were such a good price I had the yum yum roll just because I have never heard of it. It was very good too. My third roll (I'm a big guy) was the dragon roll as eel is my favorite. It was delicious

Great customer service! But, I ordered the sushi with salmon, and my wife had the one with crab and shrimp. Both the amount of salmon in my sushi and shrimp in my wife's was scarce. The rolls seemed 95% rice. We've been there before (about a year ago) and the sushi was a lot better. Maybe they recently hired a new chef? Cutting costs? Nevertheless, we will not be returning to that location.

What a horrible experience!! I am not a person that usually leaves a bad review but the staff took forever just to give us a menu. Then 15 min later asked us what we wanted to drink, after another 15 min he took our orders. Literally 45 min later we received our food. They did not even bring our appetizers out to us. The good think of all the food we order was the sushi, the Jack Roll was my favorite. Even though they messed up half of our orders. Sorry but we will never go there again.

Fuji Sushi & Sake Bar has slowly won my favor. They have surpassed my expectations and they have taken over as my go to spot here in RC.
The food is always timely and always delicious. From sashimi, to nigiri, to hand rolls, and creative one of a kind American style rolls they deliver. Also, they deliver in consistency as well. (I'm not sure how many of my reviews you may've indulged in so far, but consistency is a staple for me.)

5 stars for the delicious poke bowl, ($19.00), and the great service! They were behind at the sushi bar when we arrived, but our waiter was up front about it and apologized that there would be a bit longer wait than usual. Staff checked back on us several times and kept us abreast of the situation. They handled it very well. It happens.
The fish was perfect! And plenty of ginger with the poke bowl... I didn't have to ask for more. ( like most sushi places). Worth the price. I will be craving the poke bowl forever!
