I like coming to this place although my order gets messed up every time. Besides that I sat inside once and an employee was very rude. 40 minutes before they close, loud music was turn on and starts lifting chairs on top of tables around me, I was already leaving but this made me feel uncomfortable, as I was stepping out door the music was turned down.

Ordered 2 soft serve ice cream for my sons. Order placed at 3:00 pm and did not receive the ice cream until 3:30 pm. Were they milking the cows and churning the ice cream themselves in the back of the kitchen? We noticed several other customers that had come after us had ordered and already received their food. We didn't understand why it took 30 mins to receive ice cream. Won't be coming back. It was seriously a big disappointment. The next time your kids want to pick up some quick ice cream, there's a Happy Lemon just around the corner from this place.

Shiki Bento has actually been a staple in my shelter at home pick up orders. They're remaining safe and still only available for pick up orders.
I love getting vegetable tempura here. The vegetables are lightly battered and crispy. Definitely eat it as soon as possible. Especially since it's to go you don't want it to soggy if it stays in the container. I usually get it as part of a bento. I like getting the sunomo salad, brown rice, with teriyaki chicken. So filling and balanced!

Little disappointed, I love unagi bowls but this place didn't do a good job....The piece of unagi was mostly burnt, and a really small piece for the price...The brown was so undercooked it was basically raw rice....The sauce is very overly concentrated its viscosity was pretty high. They basically filled up the bowl with a lot of rice, really small piece of fish then made it look decent sized with cabbage shreds on the sides! Disappointed, 2 stars for the services and the lovely location, the gent in the front was nice and friendly atleast. Won't go back

I was taking my dogs on a stroll around Leo J Ryan Park til I got hungry! Found this little spot not too far away. Placed a phone order for chicken teriyaki, miso, and california rolls.
The employee over the phone was courteous and told me it was better to order the miso with the teriyaki bowl rather than separately as I would save money. In times like this when small businesses are struggling, they are still considerate of their customers.
The food was ready for pick up within 10-15 mins. The pickup process was smooth.

So I love Japanese food. I grew up in a Japanese household and the only way I could ever get Japanese food like this was by begging my mother. But she did not make sushi burritos, smiley potato fries, or any of their unique rolls they sell at this place. You can tell by the amount of pictures I have added to this review that I have been here a good amount of times. I am a big fan of their sushi burritos and their ramen with gyozas. I know we are in California, but it does get somewhat cold during the winter based on California standards and that's when this ramen comes in clutch, especially

Came here for the sashimi lovers sushi burrito. It was pretty good with a generous portion of fresh-looking fish and nice sauce (mayo). I think the corn flakes were a mistake however. I get where they were going with the extra crunch but the corn flavor didn't go well with the sushi flavors.
They have pretty nice happy hour specials with milk teas. I'll probably be back.

Very casual, order at the counter and pay first. When we arrived a children's birthday party was just ending. So it was a bit loud as the acoustics in there are phenomenal. Lol..! We had to find our way to the counter by weaving in and out of birthday balloons and hurdling over a few children, but that's okay bc I love kids!
We ordered two bento boxes; pork katsu and chicken teriyaki and Gyoza and chicken katsu. Both bentos came with a side salad and white or brown rice. Dipping sauces and serve yourself water available too.

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this fine place. Well it was a magnificent evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for this strong celebration. The stuff contributed in a splendid manner, the cooking was tasty and my guests were very delighted. We shall absolutely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

I'm a bit torn on this place! I've had my ups and downs during my two visits to Bento House within the last week. My first visit (being a huge fan of sushi) I decided to give their Shrimp Tempura rolls a go, and got a Beef Teriyaki bowl on the side. The Shrimp Tempura was served to me in a plastic, premade box, with little plastic grass insert and all. A few pieces were unraveled too (through rough handling I suppose). The taste of the sushi matched the presentation: it was clearly premade and sitting in a fridge ready to be served. Call me picky, but I prefer freshly made rolls, otherwise I would
