We rented from SQP for 8 years. It like anything has ups and downs. There were things with the house that were out of Sunquests control that came up, the proper people were sent out though. Mostly in a timely manner, again if it wasn't usually it wasn't due to actual SQ. We have always had a good experience when having to call the office for whatever crazy came up. As well as not being made to feel like a heel, which for us was always important. You treat others regardless of what position you hold to them with the same respect you'd want to be treated with, and with them that was always the case

Thought this was a good company until I see what all they try to scam you on when getting a security deposit back!! 350 for yard clean up??? Really its less then a acher and they try to charge you for tree trimming WHICH IS ILLEGAL AND NOT TO BE COVERED BY THE TENATS!!! Highly recommend that if you rent with them to do everything in writing and read everything they try to give you several times!!! Otherwise stay far away from this company!!

DO NOT rent from these people. My fiancé and I lived there for a year. We power washed and bought mulch for the house we were renting the month we moved in to make the place look better. When it was time for our lease to be renewed they EMAILED me less than 30 days before the lease was up and told us we had to be out. They didn’t even have the decency to call us to tell us they weren’t renewing our lease. Their reason was bc we didn’t keep our yard up to standards. They claimed that the homeowner wanted us out due to complaints from home owner association. Mind you this rental company is

Been renting for over 2 yrs. I'm a pretty reasonable tenant, but occassionally have repair requests. Sunquest has been absolutely great to work with. Avoid renting from them if you can. For 2 years, we inquired several times about our carport leaking. The owner supposedly paid someone to come out for repairs but that didn't happen. Inquired again when the shed started leaking as well towards the end of our lease. Nothing was done to fix it which oh well, it wasn't our house and we did our part. Guess who had a deduction from their deposit for 'carport clean up' for all of the water/dirt stains? Us!

My wife and I had nothing but good experiences with the ladies at SunQuest. They were always quick to respond to me, even on weekends when they were closed, and were always transparent when we were waiting for repairs. We didn't have any issues with starting or ending our lease. Thank you for helping us whenever we needed it!

They agreed to work with me (8 months pregnant) and my family (including two young children) to secure a rental property despite struggling credit. They ended up rejecting us in the end, leaving us homeless four days before our move from North Carolina. I will never, ever work with this company again, and would advise others to use one of the other millions of realtors in the area instead.

Denied us on credit, didn't check employment or renters history. Took $80 from my girlfriend and me even though I told them my credit wasn't good but renters history is solid. They said it wouldn't be a problem. Just warning others this isn't a very honest company. What do they care, I just paid part of her paycheck right.

Military be aware! They are difficult to deal with, never return phone calls and conveniently lost our move in inspection when it was time to move out. It took almost 9 months to get a back door replaced that was rotting out allowing bugs into the house. Just a few months before we moved out nothing was wrong with the house, yet once we moved out they sent a huge bill. They returned less than half of the security deposit. My orders had already required me to move so I was unable to fight the charges in person. I would recommend staying as far away from this company as possible.

I just have to say that I have been renting with this company for over 8 months now. In reply to one of the reviews on here I am the person who moved in before they got the house. I don't see that as bad customer service that they weren't told. I had my application fee in before hers. I know this because like the savvy person I am, I kept up with the realtor myself and asked if anyone else was interested. Wow, I should of come on here and read these reviews prior to applying. This Company is extremely unprofessional and being in property management myself I can say that with 100% certainty. I filled out an application with them and after I filled the application out Tina tells me even though I'd be moving in mid month I would be responsible for a full months rent and security deposit and than pay the pro rate the following month!! If i were you i would stay away they apparently (according to them) have so many properties they cant keep up with them all so you just been a number to them. Oh and dont be surprised when a collection agency calls you saying you owe a balance at that residence months after you moved out and thought everything was square.

Over the 2.5 years I lived there, I found Sunquest to be an extremely easy company to do business with. For the most part, those 2.5 years were just me paying my rent on time and not really having much interaction beyond that.
At one point, my septic tank was full and the was a bit of backup in my sinks and tubs. Pretty gross, but I called Sunquest and Teresa was very helpful and got someone out to pump the tank immediately. No disputes about paying for it, no hold up, no delay. They even paid for some septic treatment packets to be added each month.
