Obviously I wasn’t happy having to go to the ER, no one ever is. I’m very thankful for TMC figuring out what was wrong with me. I went to another hospital two times before going to TMC.I appreciate the staff taking time to listen to me. I wasn’t even there for very long which definitely was a plus. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

This is the most horrible ER and no joke! The staff have no compassion for noooooooo one! It's like I am at the ER because it's just sooooooooo much fun so why do the staff have to be so darn mean??? It was not just me they was mean to, it was almost everyone....this poor old lady was sitting across from me in a wheelchair and she had to be like 80 years old and she was very cold so when a staff came out, she asked if she could have a blanket and the staff member said in a very rude tone that they will call her soon so if she could wait that, that would be nice....they didn't call

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. NEVER coming back, the nursing staff have no compassion nor do they really care anymore. I’m sitting here in a hospital bed, waiting for my nurse to come because I pushed the nurse button 20mins ago, while she sits across from me on the computer. I was supposed to be discharged at 2am, it’s now almost 3am and I’m still here. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Quality of Care has gone downhill! Husband went in for chest pains. It took 6 hours for anyone to attend to him. It took forever to get lab work done and was never given the results. Even though he was kept overnight, he was never given a diagnosis and told to follow up with a cardiologist and prescribed baby aspirin. He went to St Joseph's the next day and was in and out in 4 hours with a diagnosis. Pneumonia and pericarditis. He was given a Z pack and doing much better. The only difference between the hospitals is one has a vax mandate for employees (which leads to staff shortages, thus care

Went in yesterday in extreme back pain from a car accident and they did absolutely nothing for my pain but give me flexeril which made me extremely sick and still feeling nauseous. It took a lot physically for me to get out of bed and wait for hours but I did it in hopes I would get the help I needed, im extremely sad and disappointed and left feeling like they thought I was lying and just looking for a high. If I wanted to get high there's plenty of drugs on the streets and I wouldn't be wasting my time and energy going to an E.R..

I really enjoyed my visit at the er I felt welcomed, the male nurse I wish I remembered his name I felt very comfortable he answered all my questions and talked with me about my care plan I make here for tonsillitis. I will definitely be coming back here I have serious anxiety about hospitals and this specific hospital is the best er I've been to. They were both very kind to me and my fiance. I very much recommend this er I was also taken back within one hour! Amazing and helpful

If you’re looking for a one-way ticket to hell, come here. My father’s end of life care has been made even more hellacious by seemingly toxic work environment for staff. Changing staff, changing policies, very few compassionate caregivers have made an end of life process even more painful. For those staff who have been compassionate to my father and my family, i am grateful. For all else, I am sad.

My experience was with the TMC peds ER and I can't say enough good things about it. My kid was having a gallbladder attack which is insane at their age and almost passed out from the pain. TMC got them triaged and evaluated ASAP which is amazing considering there is a nurse shortage right now. My kid was treated with kindness, courtesy, and respect. Their symptoms where treated asap and pain controlled. Imaging was done incredibly fast and the young lady Elizabeth who did the ultrasound was a Godsend. She made my kid feel safe and comfortable. And Lorraine in the cafeteria was just wonderful. She

The people who work here lack empathy for those coming and needing help. 14 hours to be seen is utterly ridiculous. The ladies who check patients in should be more interactive with the patients informing them of the estimated wait time and number patients ahead. Also, Instead of using funding for new wings for the hospital buildings they should focus on hiring enough staff to quickly aid those who are in need. Very disappointing.

I’m extremely disappointed in this hospital . Came to tmc for my sick nephew. Long wait … not a big deal. My biggest issue is there’s 9 nurses sitting right in front of our window DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT SITTING ON THEIR PHONE AND HAVING SOCIAL HOUR WHEN THERES tons of patients waiting for treatment .
They can cut down more then half the time patients are here if they actually worked and stoped socializing. Then I was one of the nurses were in here giving him treatment another nurse walks in then tell the other nurse She needs her to come into another room with her six other kids that

I have my mother here in the emergency room as I write this. At this time we have been here waiting our turn patiently going on 3 1/2 hours. I understand the wait, and I am fine with it. What I am not fine with is as I sit here, I have watched many many people come and go. It was packed full when we arrived and then emptied and filled again. Not once has ANYONE came out and sanitized empty chairs. What good is making everyone mask up if it is not properly sanitized frequently.

I had a two-and-a-half day stay at TMC in the beginning of August. My ER experience was positive: I was seen almost immediately, the resident physician, attending physician, and nursing techs were caring and competent, and I received prompt and correct care.
My stay in the hospital itself was a different story. The nursing staff was hit or miss. Some of the nurses were apathetic and untimely, while others were caring and informative. I had to have oral surgery on the second day of my stay, and I received little to no information beforehand, including the name of the doctor doing the procedure

Go here as a last resort. The staff plod along and are fairly unsympathetic to your plight. Lots of staff wandering around, chit chatting with each other while the wave of misery wafts across the emergency room like a refugee camp. Banner is busier but definitely more competent and actually more responsive and faster.

My daughter has Ahlers Danlos syndrome and has had many operations for intestinal and joint issues. Yesterday she was in excruciating pain so the pain clinic recommended taking her to emergency. We went to TMC where she has been treated previously. They would not let me wait with her which I understand but I watched from outside for 3 hours while she rocked back and forth crying in pain. I called twice and asked if someone could help her by getting her phone out her purse which was hanging off the back of her wheelchair. When a nurse came outside I asked if someone could help her with her phone

I went to the ER at TMC with terrible pain in my left flank, nausea and vomiting. I was in so much pain I couldn't walk, barely move. I went straight to triage and moved back to the lobby quickly. They did not appear too busy as there were only a few others there waiting, but was told they had no rooms so it would be a wait. While waiting my blood was draw and given an ultrasound then returned to the lobby. All testing appeared to be done while waiting in the lobby. The wait slowly became ridiculous. I understand we are seen in order of emergency condition, but it felt like that no rooms were

Worst ER experience of my life. Made me wait 2 hours in excruciating pain before they'd admit me. Once admitted, my nurse Michelle was amazing. Very kind and patient. But my star rating is not for her, it's for the ER staffing and policy issue. When someone is doubled over in pain so much so that they're actually moaning and in tears, you put them at the front of the line. Or at least bring them back and administer some pain meds. You don't force them to sit there for two hours in the worst pain they've ever felt. If it's a staffing issue, then hire more people. I

The red headed nurse was not our nurse and reprimanded me like a child when I removed myself from the room and went to the exit door to talk on my phone. She then let others talk in the small area in front of the rooms. Her excuse was she was entering things for HPPA. Really?, and my phone call about my friend involved HPPA , how?
They were slow, no communicative and rude.
The walls were so thin we could hear EVERYTHING about the other patients. HPPA????

Been sitting here 7 and 1/2 hours. They apologize for the delay in being seen. They claim it's be of helicopters and EMS ambulances, there was one helicopter that came in the 7 and 1/2 hours.
They may be short on staff and that makes them short on beds. Maybe the administration should come and help. Then maybe they will hire more staff instead of running their current staff into the ground.
AVERAGE WAIT TONIGHT WAS ABOUT NINE HOURS

Unfortunately we spent two consecutive evenings at this Emergency Room with a loved one. Fortunately though, there are some amazing people working here. Now, I have to remove a star because it took FOREVER to be seen both nights, but they get a solid four stars because of the superstars we encountered. Our nurses Stephanie (first night) and Zane (second night) were caring, attentive, empathetic people - exactly what you want in a nurse! Kasey (sp?) was another fabulous individual we encountered. I asked for his help and he did not hesitate. He took on the tough task with professionalism and care
