I loved living here and had no issues for the year that I was there. My problems came when I moved out and the management company changed in the few days between my move out and when I came back intending to clean out my apartment. I moved out over a month before my lease was up, but when I came back, I found that they had changed the locks and once I was let into the apartment I was STILL renting, I discovered my vacuum, along with some pots and pans and other items had been stolen by God knows who. The items missing totaled $362 and I still haven't received any kind of restitution for this situation

I live here for 4 years now. The view is amazing, location is the perfect compromise between quiet and peaceful place and close to everything else.
The new managment is much much better than the older one, they make things moving in the right way ! Building itself is old, but no complain about noise (I'm upper level). Hervé

NEVER move into City View Apartments in Newport. They have screwed me over in every single way possible. I took over my friends lease in March. I went through all the necessary steps. Applying, doing a background and credit check, putting all the utilities, insurance, etc in my name, signing a lease, ALL of that. My lease was up in October 1st. I’ve been trying to find a place for months because I hated living here. They never checked on anything once. Never cleaned anythingand they’ve never been in my apartment for maintenance checks. I tried contacting them many times about my sinks

I would like to give 0 star if I can!! However, I lived here for 1 year. The apartment itself is pretty old, so if you are not on the top floor, you will hear footsteps coming from upstairs.
However, this is not the reason I am giving 1 star. The reason is with A-Strategy management! Their property manager promises you waiver for something, and couple months later when you move out and the property manager changes, they blame on the previous manager and don’t keep the promises.

This place has taken a down hill turn. They have had 3 community managers in 2 years. The parking often is very spotty and they will tow if you do not have a parking pass. The community area is nice, but the grills are NEVER clean and the pool with chipping paint has been shut down several days over the summer for not meeting levels. There is minimal kitchen storage in the apartment. Several buildings have had rodent issues as well. I once caught 13 mice in 15 days. I would not suggest this place to live, especially for the price.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve lived in NKY/Tri-State area my whole life and as for apartments go this is the best for city living without the hustle and bustle of the city. So quite and so many pretty views. My boyfriend and I met with Nicole and fell in love instantly. She was very accommodating and did everything she could to give us what we were looking for. Highly recommend for any age.
