This is without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever lived. The only good thing about it is Elizabeth Nieves. She has been so supportive and helpful. Unfortunately, The Lory is looking to replace her! This is a picture of my drawer that they claimed to have fixed. Look at how poorly made it is. The entire place is like this. I pay a small fortune to live in a dump.
No one made any attempt to remove the ice from the sidewalks and steps yesterday. Someone could get seriously hurt, but the Lory only cares about their money. Not it’s residents!!

These 5 stars are for Elizabeth Nieves. She made the application and move in process as smooth as possible for my mother. Elizabeth was always quick to reply to any question via phone, text or email and happily answered all of my mother's questions. In person, she was always cheerful and happy to see us. She gave us outstanding customer service. Thank you Elizabeth!

I moved into the lory in the middle of August and had an amazing experience with the staff. The apartments are older but they are still nice, especially with the beautiful lake and wooded views. Elizabeth is an angel. She went out of her way multiple time before and after moving in to ensure that whatever I needed was taken care of. When I was originally looking here I was interested in the 2 bedrooms and Elizabeth spent a lot of time communicating with me while waiting for an available apartment to open up. She went significantly above and beyond anything I've ever experienced or expected from

We moved into the Lory in April of 2021, I waited a bit before reviewing so I could give an honest review. The office staff is simply amazing! Elizabeth made the moving in process so smooth and easy, answering all of my questions and helping me though every step of moving. Her and April made us feel welcome and right at home from the moment we walked in the door to inquire about availability. Elizabeth checked in a week after our move in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Maintenance is prompt and very friendly. We had a few run of the mill issues and they fixed them

Lory of Hillsborough is one of the most pleasant apartment complexes in the Hillsborough area. The beautiful lake and park like surroundings create a haven of peace and quietude. Since the ownership changed from Ashford Lakes to Lory of Hillsborough, the general appearance of the complex has been really spruced up. The staff in the leasing office are professional, extremely friendly and very accommodating. Maintenance issues are always addressed very promptly. The community is conveniently situated adjacent to I-85 and close to I-40 making it easily accessible to points east and west of Hillsborough

Lory of Hillsborough has made my moving experience the best one yet! April was incredibly helpful and understanding of my needs. She maintained open communication with me throughout the whole process!
Lory of Hillsborough is one of the best places to live in Hillsborough. The community is very clean and let’s not leave out the beautiful layout of the grounds and the apartment homes! Lory of Hillsborough is safe and very quiet. There is nature all around you. The birds chirp beautifully in the mornings. The sunlight that filters through the windows is exactly what is needed during the colder

I love living here. We have great neighbors, kids have a great time. Safe. Lovely landscaping and beautiful walkways. We enjoy the community garden and playground and the pool of course. Our maintenance men are always on top of things and quickly fix any time I ever need them they respond immediately.

I have just recently signed my 7th lease here. I moved here after a divorce, expecting it to be a quick stop. I ended up falling in love with the community. The property is one of the nicest apartment communities I have seen.
It is also nice to fish in the lake. The views are very pleasant. The pool is always kept up very nice, as is the gym. It may be small, but the equipment allows for a complete workout.
Prior to buying my own washer and dryer last year, I never had any issues with the laundry room either.
The best thing is how close I am to all the local hiking trails, as well as downtown

Since the change in ownership there has been a wave of good customer service, pleasantries and most of all professionalism. My interaction has been with Erica. Ashford Lakes had numerous concerns related to well-being of renters (which is viewing people as dollars). Erica and Lory of Hillsborough although new have thus far exhibited compassion and the well-being of the residents (stakeholders vested in community).

Ashford Lakes is a great community! We really enjoyed the ambiance with the lakes, walking paths and pool area. Most of all, the staff was wonderful and helpful! The management office was always responsive and when repair requests were submitted it never took more than 24 hours for the helpful maintenance crew to be at our door working to resolve. A great place to rent in the beautiful Hillsborough area.
