What makes 290 Fitness different? First, we are not a commercial gym! Unlike a commercial gym, where you walk through the door to find a sea of machines or row after row of benches & weights with everyone on their own, we instead are designed to workout as a team in a motivating environment. We have coaches to guide you, teammates to inspire you, and evolving workouts that continue to challenge you.

You will never be 'stuck in a rut'! Second, we target all levels of fitness and are dedicated to helping you reach your goals. We want you to see results! You have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone, welcome new challenges, give 100% and leave lazy at the door! 290 Fitness is its own brand of gym!
Services
A strength and conditioning program designed for anyone at any age that wants to lose body fat, get strong and build an athletic, lean body. This is a 4-week program that consists of weight lifting 4 days a week (M-T-TH-F) working different muscle groups; one week low reps 70-85 % of your max then next week high reps 40-50% of your max.

I have been going to this gym for about 2 months and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Best gym I have ever been to, I wish I would of known of it years ago.
If you're serious about your fitness goals (whatever they may be) this is the place to walk it out.

**Update**
Going on 11 years now and I am still working out at Tom's gym. I've been consistently doing the HIIT classes but have now added a TRX class into the mix. TRX instructor, Vilma, is awesome and pushes me to strengthen my areas of weakness, and sometimes even tailors her workout to focus on those areas. The 290Fitness Family works hard but plays hard as well: Spartan Races, The Murph Challenge, road trips, birthday celebrations, holiday parties!

This gym is fantastic!
I love Vilma’s TRX class.Her workouts help you strengthen your abs, improve your balance, agility, and overall body strength.
Rosie’s Saturday OCR class is AMAZING! It will take you to a new physical level! I finished a Spartan trifecta because of it!! Your body will definitely thank you for this class.
If you’re considering a gym come here and do not think about it twice! They have great prices compared to other places and the people are genuine and super helpful!

I’ve been working out here for over 3 years and am happy with all the results I’ve seen! 290 fitness taught me how to work out effectively and exceed my the expectations I had for my body!
From TRX classes, to rigorous OCR training, the classes here are great for all fitness levels! I especially recommend this gym for anyone looking to train for a obstacle race!

The Personal Training is the most rewarding that I have experienced! I have had several personal trainers over the years and Tom is by far the best! Tom is very knowledgable about fitness and truly cares about helping you achieve your goals! He mixes up the workouts and pushes you to be the best. The members of fun and everyone is real supportive. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!!

Wow! Where to begin?! I love this gym, I think it's safe to say I'm addicted. They offer a free class for first time visitors then half off your first month membership. 290 offers a variety of classes and beginning October 17th will be open 7 days a week.

The coaches are amazing and the workouts are great for all fitness levels. I would recommend taking the HIIT class and if you're really feeling up to it, finish off your workout with a spin class. You really have nothing to lose.

I've been personal training with Tom for a year now and am really happy with the results. The personal training sessions are well planned, challenging and tailored as fitness levels increase. Tom's a solid trainer; providing encouragement and driving you to push yourself further. The gym is well equipped and is being continuously improved by ongoing investment in additional equipment.

I started here about two months ago and it has been a total life change. This by far is the best gym and I love the training style. With in two months I lost 10 percent body fat and gained muscle. I feel healthier, less tired and I am motivated everyday to go to the gym. The people there are great and they make the whole experience that much better. BEST PLACE TO WORK OUT!!!

I've never looked so forward to sweating as much as I do at Tom's 290 Fitness! Tom's workout programs are challenging and different every time. Every day is a different sore but a good sore. Toms is freak of nature, a great instructor and the key motivating factor to my life-style change.

I have known Tom and attended his classes for over five years. When he decided to set up his own gym, I followed him there! Tom has a wide knowledge of various forms of physical training from classic weight and cardio forms to "fighting" training.
Tom himself is in superb shape, always upbeat, ever friendly, and helpful. He has passion for his work and it shows in the atmosphere at 290 fitness and in the facility itself.
I got tired of the crowds and the impersonality of the "corporate gyms". I love the friendly, close-knit atmosphere at Tom's.

Love, love, love, this place!! This is definitely my second home. Tom is a great trainer and really helps push people to their limits. The format of the workout is great and accommodates people of all fitness levels. I am currently training for a Spartan OCR race and Tom has taken that along with my other goals, and created challenging and effective workouts. I used to be a strictly long distance runner and I love the change in routine and the increase in strength that have come from working out here! If you are looking for some one on one training to go along with your group training, 290 fitness
