I dance because there's no greater feeling in the world than moving to a piece of music and letting the rest of the world disappear. Mid-town has captured our heart and soul for 32 years and we have embraced every moment. Our first priority was to stay in the midtown area that we so loved, however for various reasons, this was not possible.
We expanded our search outside the area and we are so grateful to be relocating to a new space in NATOMAS! We are in the Raley's shopping center on the corner of Truxel Rd and Del Paso Blvd. We will be open in August for the start of our Fall session. It is a beautiful 7500 sq. We understand change is difficult.

Our objective is for all students to go home with a sense of well-being and feeling inspired. Our young movers will receive exceptional training in dance so every dancer can achieve their full potential as artists.

Yes they are open again! There is a good safety policy in place to protect the 6 foot social distance. Same great classes and upbeat, talented instructors. Whether you are a beginner or a pro there is a class for you here at Step 1. Many different dance formats and both online and in person classes.
