Desert Hills Dental is proud to provide CEREC3-D Technology to our patients in need of ceramic restorations. The CERECsystem has revolutionized the dental field making patients lives easier. In the past crowns required messy molds, and sending impressions away to labs, only to have the patient to return a week or so later.

The worst experience ever! I'm new to this clinic and came first time a few months ago to do a filling. Month later that filling came out and I had to wait for next appointment in pain to re-do it.
Doctor also told me that I have to do a crown or I will lose the tooth eventually, so I scheduled an appointment. On that appointment I told the doctor that I don't feel comfortable doing the crown since she couldn't do even do the filling properly. In addition it was almost the holidays and in case a follow up is needed - everything is closed. She spoke to me for 10 mins and promised

I hadn't been to a dentist since 2018 and I really let my teeth go by not getting my regular check-ups, cleanings, x rays, etc. It was my own fault that my teeth got to this point and that several teeth were infected and decayed so much that I was severe pain. I found this place accidentally while googling and seen that it had excellent reviews and it was conveniently located across the street from where I live. The staff got me in right away the same day and I left work early to get the emergency taken care of immediately. The professional from everyone made me feel more at ease and I like that

First time around I had very good orthodontist however, after the pandemic I had a horrible experience. I was told that I needed to redo my fillings so I did. However, the orthodontist that saw me did a horrible job. Throughout the procedure she kept talking to her assistant and she mention how busy she was. She did my fillings really quickly and left. I went back about three times for them to fix them since I was experiencing sensitivity every time I ate. To make story short, they did not end up fixing them and my teeth are still very sensitive. I just want to ask the dentist why she thought it was ok to touch and play in my hair. "I love how "y'all" do these" - like you never seen one of ya nieces with braids. They may not have been done correctly lol but be real.
I get how ignorant some people can be to common sense, but I would think after she made it clear that she has a DOUBLE MAJOR from UNLV after I said I went there, she would know that it's rude. Black women are not your golden retriever. Show us the same respect you would show your nana and grandpa.

I went to Desert Hills Dental a few weeks back for my normal 6 month check up. I’m new to town so this is the first place that looked decent and I went.
At the appointment they found 15 cavities and pushed for it to all happen over about a months time and it was going to cost $1200 out of pocket (with insurance already applied).
This is seemed off as I’ve only ever had a few cavities at a time and they even wanted to drill on teeth that barely had any cavities.
I went to get a second opinion at another dingiest and Desert Hills was pretty rude to me over the phone when I asked for the X

Outstanding...six stars!!! I can't say enough good things about this practice and their service! I was referred to Dr. Staten when my usual dentist was away on holiday, and I'm so glad I was!
The team is friendly and punctual, the office is immaculately clean (especially important as we emerge from the pandemic) and Dr. Staten is an expert in her craft. Upon moving to Las Vegas, I used the pandemic as an excuse to delay going to the dentist. While that's not a good thing, it may have facilitated my selecting a practice this is without a doubt the VERY BEST dental group I have ever been to! I love this dentist and came here to fix a couple things another dentist had done. I already had to go to a specialist for my 6 front teeth now I get to come back to Dr Staten to finish the job. I am looking forward to smiling again. So far I am very happy with the service and the folks in the office. Hopefully I never come across the rare situation some complain about.

NIGHTMARE, RUN AWAY as FAST as you can. This place has one interest and that is to take you for a ride. I knew something was up on the first visit when they wanted to load me up on crowns. They refused to fill a re-treat I had done and said I HAD TO GET a crown. I walked out and vowed never to return and found a much better dentist that filled it for me. This place is a poster child for dentists that want to overcharge and make you do things you DO NOT NEED!!!! RUUUUUUUUN AWAY and save your money/teeth!!!! Don't go to this dentist. My crown was put on backwards and the treatment plan that was given to me was far more aggressive than what was necessary (another dentist told me it could have easily been remedied with just an onlay to protect the original tooth).
Dr. Staten was very rough and there was blood on the instruments by the end of my visit. I had gone in for a check up that ended up being a 3-hour appointment. After she installed the crown incorrectly, I ended up staying for an additional 1.5. Over this 4.5 hour appointment, the staff did not check if I needed anything like water even

They would get ZERO stars if I could. MONEY HUNGRY save your time and go anywhere else. Trust me. Total waste of time and completely unhelpful. Went in for a toothache that was chipped and should have been pulled just like another dentist did, instead left with an estimate of all the things the dentist said I needed which was almost 2k , even though I was in horrible pain and it should have been pulled like any other dentist Would/DID. Like I said go anywhere else.

Finally came back to the dentist after I cracked my tooth a few days ago.
I was reluctant to return after a 2-year absence (as well as neglecting to complete the work the previous dentist had recommended).
Needless to say, the staff and practitioners here are nothing short of amazing. I felt nothing but love and warmth, even while they were wrestling my stubborn tooth out!
Amy V. is amazing and broke down every single line item on my invoice and made sure I understood everything!
I'm returning in a week to get some more treatment done. I've found my new dental home!

I've been a patient here for the last several years and still love this place and definitely love Dr. Staten. In the spring while riding my bike I felt the filling in my tooth vibrating so I booked an appointment and had it checked out. Sure enough, it was loose and there wasn't enough tooth left to fill it again so I had to get a crown. They do crowns all in one day so you don't have to come back twice. They did such a wonderful job that my retainer still fits perfectly even with the new tooth in place! About four months after this I got a letter from my insurance company wanting

I've never had such a knowledgeable and highly communicative dentist or dental staff before. It was refreshing hearing why they were doing certain tasks, what the numbers they were recording mean, and why (thank gosh!) they no longer do teeth polishing.
I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years due to many large life changes monopolizing my time. Thankfully my teeth and gums were in better condition than they were even the last time I went.

Long story short. We had a dental emergency with my 91yr. old Father in Law. They took him in right away and took great care of him and his dental needs. The office personnel are friendly, caring, experienced and proficient, especially Danielle. My wife and I decided to try their dental cleaning and both hygenists were patient, careful and did a fine job. After the cleaning, the Dentist came in and did a survey and tour of my teeth, again, we were very pleased with the results. We highly recommend this practice, they are about building relationships as well as a great practice that's fair

So, it's been a very long time since I've been to the dentist. I've been very embarrassed to go get checked etc.
Last year (or 2) my wife had a dental accident and they were able to fix her tooth that same day. She loved them the moment she went in. She refused to see any other dentist and she finally convinced me to see them. I'm glad I went in to get checked, they made me feel welcomed and the embarrassment went away. They asked how long it's been since my last check up and I tell them it's been awhile. (I'm sure they know how long through the x-rays lol).

I just had my six month cleaning/checkup and as always, I love this office! Everyone is always friendly and happy to see me (or good at pretending), they tend to run on-time, and my cleanings don't leave me feeling battered and bruised - just squeaky clean and winning at teeth! I've been a Desert Hills Dental fan ever since Dr. Staten fixed my chipped tooth three years ago, and I sing their praises to anyone who will listen. (Literally. I wrote a little song.*)
