We have three bright and beautifully appointed dining rooms on our main floor. Our main floor also boasts a stunning wine bar. The only wine bar in the NRV, our guests can enjoy a meal from our full menu or a smaller treats from our starters menu.

I have eaten at and ordered take out for large parties from 622 North for years and usually had a great experience. Recently though it appears things have taken a turn for the worse and the manner I was treated recently was patronizing and uncharacteristic. On Jan 10th I attempted to order delivery but something wasn’t jiving between the website and the restaurant so I called. The gentleman that answered, while having a very friendly voice, was sarcastic and flippant with me but I eventually placed an order for pickup. LOVE this restaurant! I went here for brunch with a group of friends, and we had the best time! the server was very nice and very attentive! We started off with (strong) Irish coffees and I got the iced version which was SO yummy. We also split mimosa pitchers, which were full pitchers that served 5 glasses each. Each of us got something different, and They have a good variety on their menu. I got the loaded savory potato bowl which was so good with runny eggs and the hollandaise sauce!!! Highly recommend for a brunch in Blacksburg!!

Had reservations for 7 after our #HokieGrad, ceremony went long and we arrived an hour late. Staff was understanding and actually held our reservation! Several of us had the warm butter beer cocktail that was both unusual and tasty! Food quality was superb, relatively large portions, and appropriately priced. Surprisingly spatious on the inside. We left stuffed and happy!

Had Lunch yesterday for my daughters graduation celebration. I ordered the Meatloaf sandwich and was Very Dissapointed. The bread was to be Chibatta and it was a regular bun. The worst thing was the Main ingrediant. It was leftover Meatloaf served. It was well done and had much burned Care grilling. It looked to be cooked a day or 2 before and was gain most likley Broiled for me again to be heated up .as it was chared black on all top and bottom also. Just a Terrible effort by a nicer high end restaurant. I was visiting from a long distance travelled and do not appreciate getting a bad chef effort

My husband and I had another lovely meal at 622 North over the weekend - it'd been four years since my last visit. My duck breast was perfectly cooked, and the Brussels sprouts were a culinary revelation. My husband's filet looked fantastic, but he said it was a bit tough. Our server Alex was a delight - knew the menu inside and out, and was such a lot of fun. The only small imperfection was the mashed potatoes, IMO - a bit salty and strangely bland. Made reservations for 8:30 on line: called to verify; "yes we have you". Got to the restaurant a few minutes early, ordered cocktails and looked over the menu. We were informed twice - first from the server "the bartender said to tell you we close at 9:00" and on her next trip after we ordered an appetizer "the cook said to tell you we close at 9:00". A great welcome. We assured her we got it. You want us out. We ordered soup and salad to expedite. I have eaten here several times, and always enjoyed it, though, the entrees to me are preferable to the sandwiches. I got the risotto three times in a row because it was so good I just couldn't get anything else. I finally tried the Mahi on my last visit, and the fish and veggies were both good! I also tasted some of my dining partner's salmon with Brussels sprouts and risotto cakes, which were both delicious, although the salmon was more done than the advertised medium rare. I was really saddened by my birthday experience at this place. It came highly recommended for "townies" in the area. First the host tells us we need to wait almost an hour for a table, then called us back in 5 minutes. When we walked through, the place was empty... so we were very confused about that... Then we had no waiter for 20 minutes. We received **so little service** from 3 different people that it became laughable with jokes like "do they know we are here?" Made 11am brunch reservations for graduation weekend. We get here & are offered Mimosas & Bloody Mary’s by a super friendly server. The mimosas are served in a water glass. We all order from the brunch menu &… they inform us.... no brunch only lunch. Yet their sign board shows brunch??? We would have left but knew we couldn’t get in anywhere else. Beyond disappointed. This should have been disclosed at the time reservations were made. The tables all around us were experiencing the same frustration.

I've been here many times over the years - for brunch a couple times, lunch, once for a night of drinks and charcuterie, and many times for takeout. Their grilled cheese/melts are a classic for me for takeout, the bruschetta melt, fried green tomato melt, and and avocado melt are all very good. 622 North has always been a game day go to with their breakfast specials and mimosa pitchers. Unfortunately we missed that this year, but decided to go for a Sunday brunch with friends. There are very few places that allow reservations during COVID, but 622 allowed us to call a few days ahead and our table was ready upon arrival. The food was very good and the portions were generous . They are willing to explain and are very helpful if you have any questions. Snapper Croquettes 4.5/5 - Fried fish is always wonderful. Oddly, while the lumps of meat were juicy, the entire croquette overall was a touch dry.
Southwest Chicken Dip 4.5/5 - creamy dip, good amounts of meat, warm fresh chips. I felt the dip needed something to punch it up, like something spicy.
Fried Green Tomatoes 4.5/5 cornmeal batter with spicy bbq jam on top. The jam was incredible but I was sad the batter was stiff and thick.

A friend recommended this place to us and it didn't disappoint. Must visit if you are in town. Great great staff, Alex our server exceptional-polite friendly and his recommendations were great. People are seated following COVID precautions. There is parking in the back. Coming to the food 1. Snapper Croquettes (4.5/5) fried to perfection crispy in the outside and soft on the inside and the sauce complimented it. 2. I LOVE 622 north!!! Everything about it is awesome. I love the food, it's delicious. I also love their drink variety. I went here in Valentine's Day this year and got the meal and wine pairing and every dish was delicious. 622 is always my go to for brunch also!! You can't beat their avocado toast. Highly recommend!!!!!
