When I was living here it was really nice and always clean. I understand it’s difficult to clean up after people and I was pleased with how nice it always was, I had very positive interactions with Julie and with Shay, and Mike I don’t know everyone’s names but they were out and maintaining things early and promptly. It was a really nice experience I was sorry I had to leave due to family issues. Everyone was personable and prompt and polite, I don’t understand where the negativity I read is coming from.

I had a terrible experience living here. Starting on my move in day, the unit was no where near clean and smelled like rotten milk. Shay, the building manager came up to the unit and said it looked and smelled fine even though another employee of the building said it was bad. I had to clean and deodorize it by myself.
The walls are PAPER thin. I could hear everything from my neighbors fighting, to their Netflix shows.
Be careful entering the building through the parking garage. They don’t clean up the laminate floors after it rains or snows. I fell walking into the building TWICE.

Odd that the negative reviews are not visible. Interesting that a lot of negative reviews are posted after Shay became whatever it is she is. There is a review posted by someone who posted a one star because of their interaction with Shay who now posts a five star.🤔 The review left by Ranette is very very fake. It does not even make sense. How would someone know that the negative reviews were left by people who complain about everything? Looks like someone used their alias to leave a fake review to offset the negative ones.🤔

We lived at 1400 Main for 1 year, prior to moving into a new house. The staff was friendly, and we have made several life long friends out of our wonderful neighbors. We found the location to be very convenient, and the community has just about everything you need within walking distance. We will miss living here for sure.

Moved in last year, everyone has been great. The office staff are always friendly. The amenities are beautiful and everything is always kept up so nice. We chose it because it had more than any other place around, but we have decided to stay because the staff and our neighbors are so great. We feel at home here. I saw a few negative reviews on here, but they seem to be from people here that like to complain about everything. We love it, and most everyone is fantastic. It is also a dog lovers dream. So many people have dogs!! Great place!

A lovely place to live
1400 truly is a wonderful place to live! We moved from a much sunnier and warmer climate to Pittsburgh and could not be happier with our decision to live here. We will be sad to move out in a few months.
The apartment itself is very comfortable, open layout and great insulation. Unlike most apartments where you can hear your neighbors constantly, you can't hear your neighbors here. Only on the rare occasion if the people upstairs walk on the hard kitchen floor can we hear their footsteps - and it has to be complete quiet in our place to notice. We are light sleepers and

Overall just a wonderful living experience. The upscale amenities, location to bars and restaurants, sidewalks and trails are nearby also.
I lived here for about two years, and there are very welcoming residents (for the most part). Made some very good friends during this time.
The staff and maintenance are also on top of things which made living there fairly simple.
There's a lot of natural light in the apartments, it's basically brand new unit so that's cool… I really can't think of too many negative things to say about 1400 Main Street.
