Overall, The Ashby at South Hills Village Station isnt not a horrible place to live. The location is ideal if you want to live in the South Hills and work downtown; the trolley station is only steps away. Also, the grounds are very well maintained, always a comment from any guest I've ever had. Most of all, the community members are the best!
With that said, over the last 3 years I've seen several changes. Many of the changes are expected when going from a new facility. Those include the amenities being worn, the paint in halls scrapped, and even some "minor" water leaks. The office staff (minus

Let me preface this by saying the apartments themselves and the grounds are beautiful and that may be enough for you. Those are about all of the positives I can conjure up. The apartments are overran with dogs, which is fine, if management took care of the stains in the hallways of the buildings. The walls in these same hallways are scratched and stained from prior moves and are not properly maintained. The carpet actually lifted off of the steps in the back of our building and has not been fixed. While living here you will receive passive aggressive emails about various problems that management

The best apartment at the best location.Friendly managers always happy to help you especially Melissa ,Nicolas and Bill. All front doors secured which is important thing for me.Amazing clubroom, fitness club, outdoor pool , ohh and fresh coffee :) Would love to buy unit if one day they will decide to sell it ;)

The Ashby is a wonderful place to live the neighborhood is nice and quiet. It's in a prime locations you have everything right at your finger tips. The property is beautiful. The apartment is everything I could have asked for. The apartment is the perfect size. The Maintenance staff is wonderful they respond to work orders quickly. They are also extremely friendly they speak every time they see you and greet you with a smile. The office staff is wonderful and friendly as well. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a place to call home this is the place to look. The office

We've been living here for about 2 weeks now, and it's been very pleasant so far!
Communicating with the leasing management was great, they were very patient with us and helped us tremendously with everything right up until we signed the lease. Upon move in, there were a couple of maintenance issues with the apartment (brand new, so these things happen), and they took care of everything for us.
Location AMAZING, apartment GREAT, complex AWESOME.
