Services
CODAC is one of Arizona's oldest and most respected community providers of specialty care for mental illness, addiction and trauma. What began as a grassroots drug abuse prevention program has grown into a multi-faceted organization that provides services across the entire spectrum of behavioral health care.
Through the NextGen HealthCare Patient Portal, you are able to connect with your health care provider through a convenient, safe and secure environment. Patient Portal allows you to be an advocate for your own healthcare. You get easy and secure access to your health information as well as the ability to use online tools and resources to improve your health and wellness.
During your first appointment - and as needed - you will meet with a Membership Specialist to review your behavioral health care benefits and any fees or financial obligations you may have at CODAC. CODAC participates with the following insurance insurance carriers for many products and services. However, not all doctors, nurse practitioners and therapists are contracted with each plan.
There are many responsibilities and pressures that come with being a woman in our culture. Mothers are expected to juggle many different roles, women experience constant pressure from the media, and many women feel that they can't reach out for help because it makes them appear weak or selfish. We know that stress, pressure, genetics and environment all play an important role in women's mental and emotional health.

This place is a joke, I was able to get an appointment with them after trying for weeks. Then, they called me to asked me if I still need the services. Of course I said yes, then the day of the appointment they never called me until the next day to asked me if I still need the services then I need to be rescheduled. Worst service in my life.

If I was on the verge of serious help, I would be left out in the wind and not get help from CODAC. I am using Dr. Murfy Morantus. We had a phone consult for 1 hour!!! I am trying to get an advanced DNA test, (which he said he would order) This test will show medications that work with my bodies absorption and help with finding right medications instead of doing a guessing game with meds. It is 70% accurate which is good and has been proven to work. But he just increased what I was on for many years (which is not working) and added another drug that is making me like a zombie. I know for sure the

CODAC 380 is specifically for methadone maintenance and suboxon maintenance for members only. This facility is 24 hours and available for substance abuse intake at all times. However methadone dosing only runs for specific set times. Staff are friendly, caring, supportive and work exceptionally hard to partner with their clients in their individual journies. Non-judgmental atmosphere with compassionate care. CODAC 380 provides individual therapy, group therapy, sobriety coaching, employment assistance, primary health care services and intensive outpatient services. Lobby is clean and comfortable

This location often reschedules or turns away suicidal clients. Not well organized. I would advise contacting the Alvernon location, or a different treatment center.
2 stars because if you somehow manage to actually see a professional on staff, maybe they can help. Also, ok experience with PCP side... so, Benefit of doubt. Mental health side is a bit of a joke here, though.

There is help here if you want it. They were extremely helpful and the staff are very nice and willing to help . The help is there if you seek it. I walked in on a Sunday evening and by tues I was all set up with what I wanted . I give them 5 stars because they are efficient under difficult circumstances. I just recently moved to this area and I'm grateful this place was there to give me the assistance I was looking for and they got it done in a timely manner. If you have a problem with addiction and want to change check this place out . I was surprised and happy to find this level of willingness

I am giving them one star because I cannot give Codac anything lower. This place is a joke, they act like they care about those with mental illnesses, but when it comes done to it they couldn't care less. Each time, I come in there are new "rules" that they have started to enforce, which makes getting proper help nearly impossible. I honestly think that this business loves messing with peoples lives and well being. I even had a woman, who I wont name, that told me if I killed myself my family would only care for a few days, then they would get over it and forget about me. This was three days after

I received a suspicious call from CODACs Alvernon Office. When I contacted Admin/HR, they refused to verify the callers employment. Beware of calls from CODAC requesting that you cut a check from private parties not part of the CODAC system. BTW, the HIPPA compliance number is not in service. There is no option for less than 1 Star. I’d give CODAC a minus 10. Shady agency.

Being told "We're gonna help" feels great and releases the immediate terror and fear. Being ignored and blown off instead of 'helped' makes it so much worse. So many times I've gone in to Codac and been told I would be helped, things would be 'taken care of', they will schedule a ride for my appointment, etc, and never any follow through. Lifting the hurting up only to dash them back to the ground with disappointment does far more damage than good. It's like a set up to destroy what little sanity we have left.

Spent almost a year with them. Don't go here. They don't answer phones, don't return calls, mess up transportation every time where you have to even call day of to make sure they're still coming often times they tell you then last minute they're not after all). Revolving door of everyone from reception to case managers to prescribers is impossible to keep track of and they sure won't keep track of you. Even trying to get a supervisor when all other options prove fruitless will usually be in itself fruitless because again, no one answers phones or returns calls. have had to have numerous "sit-ins
