Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Whether your pet is a youngster, a "senior citizen, " or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet.
Do you close for lunch? No we do not close for lunch. The only exception is the first Wednesday of the month for 2 hours between 12-2pm for a staff meeting. There may be other Wednesdays between 12-2pm for staff training where the clinic may be closed. How can my indoor cat get fleas? Fleas can come into the house on your shoes, clothing, and new plants.

We had a wonderful experience with Beneva Animal Hospital this week. Our cat was lethargic and not eating yesterday morning. They worked her into their schedule early that morning, evaluated her, identified the problem, made the appropriate referral and followed up that night and the next morning to check on her. All the staff were warm and professional- they remembered our cat after just one visit. Covid precautions were perfect - we called from the parking lot to have a staff member get our cat from our car; they wore masks and provided information in person as well as over the phone. I’ve owned pets most of my life and have known many veterinarians. We’ve been taking our kitties to Dr Paxton here at Beneva, and she is amazing! She was very supportive when helping me say goodbye to my dearest senior kitty and has been extremely helpful in caring for our present fur babies. Her tender care exceeds anything I’ve experienced at any other veterinarian. Everyone in the office is professional, kind and caring. I just can’t say enough about how happy we’ve been with them.

Drs. Paxson & Whitlock have cared for our pets for 25 years. We love them and their caring staff. Whenever we need care urgently, they accommodate us. We had been taking our pets to another veterinary practice many years ago, but changed to Beneva Animal Hospital and have always been totally satisfied.
