ABOUT US Auto Tek is located about 6 miles south of I-30 on Hwy 205 in Mclendon- Chisholm, Texas. Phil Easley is the owner. We have been ASE Certified for over 25 YEARS. With over 35 Years experience on working with just about every conceivable problem with vehicles, we are confident that we can take care of your car or truck.
Is it really necessary to replace my timing belt at the manufacturer recommended interval? YES. The failure of a timing belt in many cars can result in major engine damage. The cost of repairing an engine with a broken timing belt is much greater than the cost of a timing belt replacement. What does it mean if my "check engine" or "service engine soon" light comes on?

This is an awesome business with super helpful and friendly employees.
They know how to treat their customers and even people just looking into having work completed by them. They are informative and strikingly honest in their answers. Which is not how most repair shops make a woman feel when she is seeking information.
