William Amoureux has been with Sapphire Healthcare Services since the beginning and is currently the Administrator of Sapphire Estates Rahab Centre, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Sapphire Estates Rehabilitation Centre provides Therapy interventions for patients with strokes, fractures, joint replacements, and a myriad of other injuries or disabilities.
Our Therapy team uses cutting edge technology combined with clinically proven therapeutic programs in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy, to maximize functional outcomes, decrease length of stay, increase independence, discharge home whenever possible and to get each patient to their highest practical level of function possible.

Mike worked with my mum on Occupational Therapy. He was excellent. Mike could cajole mum into pushing harder. This was always done in a respectful, pleasant and positive manner. Mike is certainly an asset for the Therapy department. I always had the feeling that mum's progress was more than just part of his job.

Beyond sad!! How can the staff of a skilled nursing facility LOSE a patient and not bother to inform the next of kin. Within 48 hours of my father being admitted to this facility the staff decided to ship him out in the middle of the night for emergency care WITHOUT notifying me or his PCP of their decision to do so. In doing so, they sent my dad to a completely different hospital than the one that had been treating him and placed him at Sapphire in the first place. What's REALLY SAD??? Not one member of the staff at Sapphire could confirm where he was shipped, why I was never called, and WHY they

My dad is in here. Today they yelled at him for having diarrhea and they took away his call button.
I've been waiting for 7 days for a call back from the case manager, head nurse, and doctor. If you could just give people a call back, it would be helpful. I saw on yelp that there are a lot of bad reviews where people had some of the same issues that my dad is having.

What a sad, sad facility! I had a loved one sent here last month and had nothing but issues!!! And admin, DO NOT bother apologizing or ask me to contact you as you didn’t bother to respond when I needed one!! When a patient falls and you call to report it….get that person checked out and medical attention ASAP!!! When needed medical supplies are lost….man up to it!!!!
How this place is open is beyond me….neglect and lack of communication from staff is what they specialize in.

If you expect communication concerning your loved one this is not I repeat not the place for you. You need to be an advocate for your loved one and persistent until you finally maybe get a response. On the positive side the nursing staff and CNA staff were outstanding front desk staff also outstanding. Special thanks to Jamie in transportation Mike in transportation, Sergio German respiratory therapy and special thanks to Bella on the front desk for doing everything possible to help me with issues I had.

It's clean and the food is good, staff is friendly and attentive, but the lack of communication to family members about the progress of your loved one is completely lacking. Phone calls are not returned. I have no idea how long my husband is expected to be in rehab. No idea how he's doing or what he's capable of doing. Otherwise i could give them 5 stars.

My son is receiving good care while at Sapphire. And every once in awhile, great care depending on the Nurse and CNA attending to him.
But hope you never need anything from any other office to help with Dr's info, insurance help, or any other information you may be looking for. No one ever returns a call. Never. It doesn't matter what department or who you want to communicate with, we have never received a call back. Very disappointing.

PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONE TO SPEND ANY TIME HERE. My 95 year old dad was sent here after two weeks in the hospital. The people who did physical and occupational therapy were pretty good and kind to my father. And the food was OK. Beyond that, trying to get someone to talk to you is almost impossible. And when I did find a nurse or a caseworker, they acted like I was imposing on them. The employees all seem angry. When I asked how to get help from the nurse's station, I couldn't even get one of the girls to look up from their computer until I got angry. Dad was given a laxative

I appreciate everything you do and especially everything you did for my grandma, she loved it here! I hope she never needs rehab again, but I’ll definitely make sure she goes here again if she ever needs it in the future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs it. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! I hate that I can't give this zero stars. My grandmother is experiencing punishment for asking for the care she is there for. The staff has taken her phone, her call button, shut her door completely and left her with no way to contact anyone. She asks for food or drinks and doesnt get it for hours, even a simple glass of cold water or coffee in the morning. She is sitting with wounds unchanged and burning, calling repeatedly for change. Same with bathroom calls, she's sitting on dirty pads and in her own filth for hours. This place is completely unacceptable

If I could give this dump zero stars I would. I am an former employee that witnessed the pain, suffering and death of patients that arrive with minor issues leave dead. Call lights of patients take hours to answer. Trach patients that wanted to be weaned were denied services because long term insurance brings in more money. I have seen hospice patients get treated so cruelly it brought tears to my eyes. Workers have been escorted our because they were hysterical having been tested positive for Covid 19. No one had been fitted for an N95. They use non disposable PPE gowns. 1/2 the staff has or has

Our mother received absolutely the best care there while being a patient. She became extremely fond of the Respiratory Staff who checked on her throughout the day and night. She has been a longtime COPD patient and appreciated the encouragement and teaching received. She also would like to send kudos to her nurses and therapy staff that worked on helping her gain strength. Sapphire Estates is a top notch facility with caring and thorough staff.
