I really wanted to like this salon, but I had the worst haircut of my life here. I have never felt so ugly walking out of a salon before. To make it worse, the receptionist kept “complimenting” me and I could tell it was just part of protocol because there was no way anyone could see my hair that day and say they like it. It just felt so fake.

Alexander is truly a kind, beautiful person. I was so fortunate to be able to book an early morning haircut with him the next day after having an unpleasant experience with another salon. My hair was a bleached, fried mess and needed help! Alexander was able to bring it back to life with a treatment and his masterful haircut skills. This was the first hair salon I have ever tried in SF and I choose it because I know the name from NY.
The place is beautiful I however was very disappointed in the stylist.
I don’t want to share her name, my goal is not to get her in trouble, I only want to post this to express my disappointment and also it might help others when considering booking here for the first time.

Rosanna colored my hair a brighter blonde and did a fantastic job. She took her time to ensure that it turned out exactly as I wanted. She was also very friendly! The salon also has a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!
