Lindsey and Melanie are business partners, sisters, and best friends. They grew up in Albuquerque, NM, went to college at University of Kansas and now call Arizona home. They both worked in the industry prior to opening Hydrate Salon and Day Spa. They both currently work behind the chair, doing what they love.

Everyone is always so pleasant. Marina, my stylist is great. I have been going to her for 9 years and she's been coloring and cutting my hair. I've changed my color and cut/ style so many times and am always happy with the results. Marina also does the best head and neck massage at the hair washing station. So relaxing and a great added bonus. She is also so nice and we have fun conversation. Highly recommend!

I had a manicure and pedicure yesterday afternoon, when I went to bed last night at midnight my nails still wear not dry and I woke up with bubbles and creases from the bed linens. As I write this my polish on fingernails are still soft almost 24 hours later. It cost me $100.00 for a manicure/pedicure that now I have to take the polish off and repolish my self.

I have been seeing Savy for over two years now and have never been happier with my hair than I have been going to her. Savy is extremely professional, sweet and does an amazing job. I see her regularly for cut and highlights. Since going to Savy at Hydrate Salon & Day Spa my hair has never been healthier. The salon is always very clean and well maintained. I have also recommenced friends to the salon who have been just as happy as me!

I had one great haircut with Hugh and when I scheduled my second one I was 10 minutes late. I had also scheduled a color but the girls up front failed to schedule it. It was downhill from there. Hugh was very irritated that I was late and I said I would reschedule. He did the cut anyway. Then when I announced I was also to get color and he didn't know, he got even more irritated. He left and came back when color product and proceeded to do the color much to my dismay. Well don't see Hugh if he is pissed off. the cut was bad and the color worse. i went back a week later and Kimberly corrected

Today was my first visit with Hugh, who came as a referral from a friend, for a haircut. Besides being just a great guy, I felt he took the time to assess my hair and make an educated suggestion about what would look better and where he would like to see my hair "go" in the future. Honestly- how many times do you go to a salon and they say what do you want? Instead I asked him what he thought- and he gave me his opinion (which I took) but he didn't force it on me. I love the cut (he cut it dry!!) and I just liked him. I'll be back and highly recommend to friends.

Natalie is the best. She is a great esthetician! I get facials from her and also my eyebrows waxed and dyed and she's awesome at that too. I highly recommend her. I also highly recommend the receptionists who are always polite and professional and seem very happy. The energy and environment of Hydrate is great
Last but not least, Kimberly is my favorite hairdresser of all time. We have moved to Texas but whenever in Scottsdale I go get my hair colored and cut by her and my facials from Natalie. I will miss these two gals.

First time here...and had a wonderful time. My stylist talked to me about what I want with my hair and then suggested what we should do as well. I've been going to the same lady for over 10 years and finally decided to switch over and so happy I did! The salon is also very clean and everyone is sweet. 5 stars for sure! Could not rave enough about this place!! I absolutely love it! It's a very clean salon, very relaxing and most importantly full of awesome talent. Marina is so awesome, I have been going to her for years, even before she was at this salon. She is very friendly and awesome to chat with but will get in the zone and focus on your hair until it is absolute perfection-cut, color, style, whatever it may be. I have never left out of there unhappy and consistently get numerous compliments on my hair which I credit her for. I would recommend Marina and this salon to anyone and everyone!

I love this salon! It is beautifully decorated, clean, convenient, and all the stylists and staff are amazing to work with. I have been getting my hair done by Melanie for a few years and love the color and cut every time! I am constantly getting compliments and people always ask where I go... well, this is the place! You won't be disappointed!

My mom recommended this place to me when I was trying to find a salon for a cut and color. I was skeptical about it because my wallet isn't very full as being a college student, but I trusted her anyway. I LOVE it here. I walk in every time and I'm greeted with a smile right away. It's very relaxing inside and I always look forward to coming back, even after the higher price- very worth it.
Brittany usually cuts my hair and she does a wonderful job and she's so sweet. This last time she wasn't available, so I had Hugh and he was wonderful too.

Not too sure why my review does not show up on Hydrate Salon's Yelp page, so I wanted to update or repost. Still a happy 5 Stars with this Salon and Hugh. Prices are normal and even less costly with comparable salons in the area. Hugh is an awesome cut and color stylist. He recommends the right color and cut for each individual.
