Small studio but AMAZING instructors. The teachers here really care about their students and work with them on important life lessons like self control and attention to details.
Our son is on the spectrum, he has been attending twice a week for the past 6 years. We have seen how they constructively correct him and re-focus him. He is developing self confidence and self defense skills.
We strongly recommend this Taekwondo studio. It is more expensive then others in Tucson, but the quality of instruction is worth it.

My grandson Dante--age 4--received his uniform and first lesson as an enrolled student today. I was much impressed with the instructors and staff. They love working with kids and helping them to learn body-mind-spirit self disciple. Looking forward to Dante's next class. He is calm but wild with excitement--both at the same time!

Sunrise Taekwondo teaches Songham style Taekwondo. Though a bit more expensive than other studios in Tucson, ATA (American Taekwondo Association) is entirely worth it as the quality of instruction is amazing! My daughter has been training for 4 years and my son for 1 year. The staff is strict, yet caring and the student to instructor ratio is small, allowing lots of personal attention. The workouts are a combination of cardio, forms, sparing, self defense and fun activities. I recommend doing your homework and visiting several studios before choosing one. I personally found the ATA students
