As such, AHC will be incorporating UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) into our programming and creating new and exciting tournaments, events, and match play opportunities for all of our players. The beauty of the UTR rating is that it is the same scale for everyone. Please note: if you have missed the beginning date of a program we can work with you to make-up the date at a later time, or pro-rate the session for you.
Racquetball players - the time is here to get you back on the court, reservations required. One hour play only - this is so we can accommodate more players along with providing us time to clean. Yes things have changed, but what is the same is the Aspen Hill Club’s level of service and attention to its members welfare. The club is open! As usual, the club is being kept very clean. Don’t let your tennis skills or your workout goals suffer. Come in or join the multiplicity of class offerings they have worked so hard to establish online. They are working diligently to keep the members safe and still provide access to services. Thank you to all of the directors, Danielle, Mindy, Heather, Zaf, John, Elliot, Ilan and Alex! (You too David.) We need the Aspen Hill Club more then ever now.

Here is another example of Aspen Hill's "commitment" to its members. The pool's non-turbulent lane lines are not in great shape but there is one that's particularly problematic. It is not tight and drifts wildly. Consequently, it should be and is usually placed at the end of the pool near the handicapped entrance. Last night it wasn't; and consequently, it drifted between two lanes during the Masters practice.
But here's the kicker: when we asked the lifeguard about moving the lane line, he told us he was told HE COULD NOT MOVE IT PER THE AQUATICS DIRECTOR

I can't say enough good things about the Aspen Hill Club. My family and I have been members for almost 5 years and we all love it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The kids enjoy their yoga, tennis, and swimming classes--and my husband and I can work out, worry free while the kids are with the incredible child minding team. We have all formed friendships with members and staff alike -- it's our home away from home!

After a long two week search and looking at YMCA, LA Fitness at Wheaton and Bel Pre, Olney and Rockville Swim, Fairland Aquatics, and Aspen Hill Club, we decided to leave Lifetime and join Aspen Hill Club. We tried a several day free pass and tried the pool and the gym. The monthly cost includes over 30 free classes a month both aquatic and land based. The classes are offered at all times of day. You could look on line and see if any interest you and what time they are available. The people are super friendly not just staff the members. They greet you, they learned my name and said hi to me in

Only been a member for a very short time. I'm happy with the gym, racquetball courts, and equipment. Locker rooms could use an update but they clean, of course I can only speak to the men's locker room but assume the women's is the same.
Only complaint I have is the hot tub. I've not been in as it doesn't look very clear or clean. I don't know if I've just hit it on a bad day or if it's always like this. If it doesn't improve I will bring it up to the management.

We joined Aspen Hill Club after a friend told us that kids are allowed to work out. We're a very athletic family, so this is a game changer for us. This is not just a health club. It's a community. We love that the other patrons are so friendly and consistent with their participation, too. It's very motivating to see others on a similar health and wellness journey. There are also plenty of cardio machines, so there is never a wait. Highly recommend!

This club is great! I love the fact it is a family club and I can have my kiddos join me when I work out. Everyone is friendly and the staff are so welcoming! They offer many events and classes. My kids love that there are also kids classes and they enjoy family swim at the pool! On site childcare is included as well!
It is a bit pricier than most gyms. I was quoted much higher for a similar type gym that has a location in Rockville and Gaithersburg so the cost is nothing compared to them.

AHC is a great facility with a warm & welcoming staff, a wide variety of gym equipment, a vast selection of group exercise classes, and--of course--an excellent tennis program. As a parent, it is not only convenient, but also comforting, to get my workouts in while my two young children play with the fun & caring Child Minding attendants. I highly recommend this club to anyone looking for a dynamic, hospitable, kid-friendly fitness & racquet club!

My fiancé and I just became members at the Aspen hill club. The staff and members have been very friendly. Seems like this club has really established a sense of community among its members. This is only my second week here, but I have noticed some areas of improvement based on previous experiences at other local gyms which charge less than the club.
1-There seems to be a lack of available clean towels. You are handed one when you walk in and the only other place that I’ve seen extra towels located is in a hallway behind the pool area. Would make more sense for towels to also be made available

Incredibly expensive and badly managed for adult tennis. Which is obvious by the fact that there are virtually no adults playing tennis after work on weekdays. In addition to membership fees there are court costs and costs for clinics and to play with the pro. So what does the membership cover? Plus it is hard to even reserve a court. You have to call almost a week ahead of time. Why? Because there was frequent useless maintenance on what seem to be perfectly fine courts. Why are the nets down outdoors in the spring? Why are they watering the courts during prime playing hours? There were

If you have children there is no better fitness facility. The childminding staff is the number one reason why we started our membership. They are caring, knowledgeable, and focused on making each child comfortable while in their care. My older daughter constantly requests to go there after school. My two youngest daughters never want to leave. Furthermore, they will change diapers without paging you over the intercom. We look forward to their winter and spring break camps and the various holiday parties for kids . The Aspenhill club is truly a unique spot for families.

I've heard about this place for years but with the high membership fees, it seemed like other places (with bigger reputations for the same cost) were the better option. Then my sons played at some tournaments here & I LOVE THIS PLACE. The facilities are really nice. The outdoor tennis courts are beautiful and the indoor space in great.

While it is on the higher end of the price spectrum ($72/mos), the club offers racquetball and basketball. If you have a family, the prices come down considerably. In turn, this a great place if you have kids. The floors are a bit soft on the courts but its good for the joints. Classes for every level and interest are available. The patrons and floor staff are all good people, willing to assist in any way.

I recently moved a few minutes from this club and as a former competitive player, I decided to check out this club. They have clinics listed on their website for just a tiny bit cheaper than where I normally play in the area, but didn't have prices split out by non-members and members (like places typically do, with non-members paying more). So I emailed to ask and instead of getting a direct answer, I was instantly forwarded to their membership office, who seemed excited about my interest and kept pushing me to come in to do a tour and overall, they were quite responsive (responding by phone

We have been members at the Aspen Hill Club for a little over a year now and we could not be happier with our experience. From the moment we walked in, we never felt pressured to join or commit to anything we were uncomfortable with, and the tactic worked because now we're hooked! We do not have a tennis membership, so we mostly use the gym for the workout facilities and I particularly love the incredible amount of classes that are offered. It always seems like AHC is hosting a social event and trying to bring their community together as well. You really feel valued when you step in the doors

If you want to play tennis, this club is definitely for you. The number of outdoor and indoor courts make it very easy to play whenever you want. They have practice sessions throughout the day including early mornings. I have enjoyed playing in the evening leagues as that works well with my busy schedule. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You can always find somebody to play with.
On top of all of the tennis, they are extremely family friendly with a full size swimming pool, basketball courts, racket ball courts, and a huge area with workout equipment, all of which is located indoors

Great place for tennis with multiple indoor and outdoor courts. If you don't have someone to play with there are always clinics to play in. The gym and pool are nice and they also offer child minding which makes it really convenient for my wife and I to drop off our 3 year old and work out. Would definitely recommend.

The Club is awesome. I've struggled to get to the "gym" for years. But I enjoy the array of sports, gym, classes etc that you find here. And I can't wait to get there as often as possible. This is a kid friendly environment which was important to me. If you are looking to belong to something, more than just slogging away at a gym, perhaps you should check it out. Tell Eric in membership I sent you, and maybe I'll get a free hit and run or some other awesome prize.

I've been a member for about 5 months. I pay $84/month for one person with the "gov't discount." They have a ton of classes and the main exercise machine room is very clean. However, it is not worth the cost and they unfortunately lock you in for one year. Can't believe I'm wasting $1,000 this year on this place. It is extremely outdated structurally. Tennis will cost you extra (I don't play so not an issue).
Don't be fooled by their "sales" btw. There's always a $20 or $30 "admin fee" when you start even if they waive the enrollment

The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly - from the cleaning folks to the administrators. They listen to concerns and do their best to address them immediately. Staff is simply wonderful. There are clinics and classes available at varying prices - free to $$$.
The biggest factor is cost. Membership costs a fortune. TENNIS membership is an additional

I have been a member of the Aspen Hill Club for 7 years. I joined mainly for the tennis, but they have a great fitness center and indoor pool also. There are tennis players of every ability, and it is easy to get a game. There are tennis clinics and socials which is a great way for new members to meet other players. The tennis pros give great instructions for adults and kids, and the staff at the club is very friendly and helpful.

Much nicer than other clubs I've belonged to in the past.

This club has tennis, racquetball, fitness center, and swimming. I only use the fitness center and swimming pool. I like that I can always get a machine. I like that they have an indoor track, although I only use it for warm ups or sprints. I've never done the exercise classes, but they look like fun. In the morning during the week days the fitness center is about 80% senior citizens and in the evenings and weekends, you have a good mix of ages. It seems like they may need to open at 5am instead of 5:30am as their are a lot of people waiting in the lobby for the fitness center to open

I have been a member at the Aspen Hill Club for 25 years and think it is fantastic. The tennis program is superb, including several great pros. The Club has numerous indoor hard courts and outdoor soft courts, and 4 soft courts are covered by a bubble during the indoor season. Also, tennis outdoors is free all summer! The Fitness Center is incredibly well-equipped and has excellent personal trainers.
