I loved bringing my cats here over the years. (Recently moved) but under Dr. Jackie Sprague's care, my cats were always treated well. I never had a bad experience with the staffing either. My boy cat was diagnosed here with an allergy disease. They gave me information and educational print outs in regards to his diagnosis. They could get him in for his steroid shots and anti biotics during flare ups. My girl cat even got fixed and microchipped too! anyways, love this place and I will dearly miss them as my vet.

When you think of the word hospital, you think that it would be to where you can bring your pet in for and emergency. Called here this morning and the person that answered the phone was more than rude not what she said but how she said it. It was my first time ever calling here because I thought it was a hospital for pets…. But I guess that it is just a regular clinic, but the business name says hospital not pet clinic lol. But for some reason this rude lady on the phone thought that I should have known that you need to be a client of their vet practice even though I did not know that it was

Critical: Reliability
This place is consistently closed during what they list as normal business hours. I am guessing they have a lunch hour, but it's not advertised anywhere. You only find out when you pull in to pick your items up before work multiple times and can't get a hold of anyone. Terrible service, I'll be switching vets.

In Sept 2020 when I was planning a trip home from Florida I called ahead, sent pictures and set up a schedule for needed surgery for my Yorkie. I completely trust Dr Ingrid and the staff and was willing to drive 1200 miles for my girl to have the best. They are family and truly care for our "kids".

Dont trust them, lake shore animal hospital is more interested in getting into you wallet/billfold to take your money than they are to help your pet. I sent my Chihuahua to them because she was sick and they kept her over night and released her the next day only to have her die within 2hours after we got her home & on top of that they wouldn't even adjust my bill. Making me pay the full amount just to have them kill my dog. Do not go here unless you dont care to fork out top dollar for subpar service

We have taken our beloved cats here for many years. Dr. Carin and Dr. Ingrid are skilled diagnosticians, and are wonderful with our cats and with us, the owners. We recently had to put our old cat to sleep, and Dr. Carin and the whole staff were so caring and compassionate. They know that our pets are like family members, for many of us. We will always highly recommend this practice to others!

My fiancé and took our pets here for the 2 years we lived in Muskegon the office was always very well lit and clean. The staff was personal and professional Dr. Jackie was very attentive to the health needs of our pets. We got sympathy cards when one of pets passed, and birthday cards in the mail for each animal. It was a great vet and we are sad to have moved away. Prices are slightly below what we had been charged elsewhere for office visits. They were always very flexible scheduling appointments. Really cant say enough good stuff about them!

Friendly vets and techs. A little on the pricey side and they tend to push alllll the shots they can, as soon as they can (which I didn't like) we had our GSD's shots spread out and started later than recommended by them, just from experience and how I chose to do things - she's happy and I felt better about not loading her up with hundreds of chemicals when she was just a few weeks old. Decent overall for what's available in the area.

These folks misdiagnosed my dog and he died. I will never go there again or send anyone there. My dog was sick so they said maybe he had a doggie flu - no tests, nothing. Prescribed antibiotics. A few days later he was still sick - diarrhea and throwing up and not drinking. They said he was probably now just allergic to the anti-biotics, stop them and come back in a few days. Well I was stupid and trusted that a vet would know what they are doing. When I came back in a few days later they said he was about to die they are very sorry and wanted hundreds more dollars to put our 2 year old
