Services
Grand Haven Animal Hospital is a small animal practice located in Grand Haven, MI. We offer comprehensive services for your pet's needs, from annual wellness exams to x-rays and blood work to surgical procedures. We are dedicated to providing the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care to our highly valued patients.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic & Therapeutic: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Grand Haven Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Is the anesthetic safe? Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.
Here at Grand Haven Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves in thorough wellness for your pet. Did you know that poor oral health doesn't just mean bad breath? The bacteria that causes plaque, tartar, and eventually calculus can also affect your pet's internal organ function, leading to potential disease of the heart, liver, kidneys, and more!

I have been going to this veterinarian for the past 13 years. My dog has recently declined and has been seeing the vet there for the past month for an eye issue. I called this morning to make an appointment for another evaluation because I think my dog had a stroke and I explained to the receptionist, Shelley that I was looking to have the doctor evaluate my dog and make some determination. Basically she told me that I have two choices I can either come in for diagnostic testing after the exam or to euthanize my dog at 4:10 PM today. I was shocked and devastated that she did not show any compassion

We had our first well visit with Dr. Montpetit. The staff is kind and loving with my dogs. You can tell they love what they do. They are also low pressure about cost/treatment, and give you choices, which is appreciated. The doc pet our dogs through the entire visit which alleviated anxiety in my dog that has terrible white coat syndrome. I highly recommend this office.

My 2 pets, 1 dog, 1 cat came down with alot of flees after I moved them to my new house. This Vet took good care of my pets while there, and then called me a couple of days later to see how they're doing. And to see that I follow thru with their instructions. I didn't have that much care elsewhere. They are great!

GHAH has been the best choice we ever made for our fur babies! We have been with them for many years and even with Dr. Nash retiring, the level of quality and compassion never wavered once! If possible, it improved! The staff is the most friendly, kind and compassionate I have ever experienced. They do everything with love and care. They make every effort to see us when it is urgent and never do unnecessary testing which helps to keep costs reasonable. You and your pet babies will love them!
