Her interest in headaches began with her own husband John who had suffered for decades from migraine headaches. A migraine is a specific and severe type of headache that can seem debilitating without any relief in sight. Migraines come in a variety of types but commonly experienced symptoms are severe, one-sided pain, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, feeling hot or cold, and vomiting. Some variations to migraines include only vision distortions/splintered vision but no pain, stomach pain, or they can mimic a one sided stroke.
We treat all kinds of neck and back pain in addition to migraines. We also treat bulging discs, sciatic pain, arm and hand pain, carpal tunnel and all the other problems that chiropractors treat. Dr. Strauss also adjusts all the other joints joints of the body: shoulders, hips, knees, etc. If you want to heal the cause of the problem, and not rely on medications to feel better, chiropractic treatment is for you.

Dr. Strauss is a miracle worker. I was having severe neck pain for days, I was desperate. This was my first time at a chiropractor and Dr. Strauss was a great first chiropractor. Dr. Strauss is amazing!! I suffered from mild headaches for several years and just learned to cope with them; it wasn't until last year when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that I found out why my headaches had became unbearable. In spite of the autoimmune disease being a trigger for my headaches, I had bad posture for many years and I also was a photographer for 11 years and had to use a 25-pound camera on my right shoulder, and I believe those two factors contributed to the increase in severity of my headaches. Great Chiropractor! They do general chiropractic and the specialty in headache and migraine care is a life saver. They are generally on time so I can get in and out without waiting forever like some doctors. Plus, the doctor really cares and takes enough time to understand and diagnose my problem; none of that 30 second visit stuff. They even helped me after an auto accident.

I started seeing Dr. Strauss about four years ago. She had a vendor stall at an event I attended, and I tried the free massage she was offering. I was so impressed by her professionalism that I started treatments with her immediately. Up to that time, I had been susceptible to some type of nerve disorder, possibly neuropathy or neuralgia, in my neck and back. Best Chiropractor in the area. Never have to wait long in the office. I can come in and out within 30 min (for my treatments).
I used to have headaches every single weekend for over 15 years. I have tried many other methods and chiropractors. After going to Dr. Strauss, my headaches have decreased little by little. In addition to headaches, my back pains have decreased as well.
Holly is great. She takes care of all the insurance paper work and payment. I never have to deal with the insurance company. Not even one phone call after 6 years of coming here. Another way to lessen my headaches.

Over the years she's really helped a lot of people conquer their migraines without drugs--she's documented everything she's done, followed up with patients, and has developed techniques that really work.
