Services
What types of services may be required for an individual who has experienced a spinal cord injury or a brain injury? Services needed will vary widely depending on where in the spinal cord or brain the injury occurred. Provident is experienced at providing qualified caregivers up to 24-hours per day for this type of medically complex need.
As degenerative diseases are not static, the type of care needed changes continually. An individual in the beginning stages of ALS, for example, may only need a few hours of Home Health Aide services per week, but will likely need 24-hour per day nursing during mid to end-of-disease stages.
Provident is experienced in accommodating the ever-changing needs of a client with a degenerative disease, and is able to provide qualified caregivers up to 24-hours per day if necessary.

This is a terrible company to work for and I could not imagine having a loved one in their care. I only worked for them a short time and I have worked in healthcare for years and I have never worked for such a horrible company. They treat their employees and clients terrible. They give them empty promises. Manipulate them and do what ever they can to fill the positions needed. They don't care who is in the spot as long as someone is there. I have heard the owner promise families staff, hours, and abilities that he knows the family will not get. The owner can talk circles around people to get them

I worked with Provident Home Healthcare for approximately 3 years as a nurse. They did a great job training staff, responding to calls, problem-solving, being flexible, and providing quality care to their patients. I was particularly surprised at how hard they worked to guarantee every shift being covered.
At the start of my career I was quite nervous to work with the patients at PHHC because it was a new field of work for me and a lot of responsibility. I politely asked for an extended time of training until I was comfortable and it was granted! To this day I’m still thankful for their diligence

We became client of Provident when we needed to hire help for my husband when I had surgery recently. I've been his caregiver for 40 years and we have never needed to use an agency before. I was more concerned about this aspect of our coverage plan than my surgery, as I was going to be out of town for a month. I contacted 11 other agencies… before I called Provident and was told they did not have the staff with the right skills to ensure coverage. Provident met with us right away and said, "Let's do it!" We were so happy with everyone that was sent out. For some, his cares were new but they

My mom needed nursing care, so I chose Provident as her home care agency. She had some of the most caring nurses that worked with her. I was very pleased with the high-quality treatment that she received. The owner would frequently stop by her apartment and see if she had any concerns. When she did, the concerns were immediately addressed. She has since passed away from her disease process over 8 years ago. About 3 years ago, I decided to work for Provident as a RN. Both owners are extremely caring people. They genuinely care about their staff. At the yearly nurses training seminar, the owner walked

I found working for Provident to me amazing. Mitch and all the staff make you feel very welcome from the first interview. The orientation process is very well organized, better than any home care I have seen. You will not find a homecare service that has better flexibility than Provident. They will work with you regarding any scheduling needs. They never pressure you to work far from your home or with a client that you may not feel comfortable with. Unfortunately, my wife and I decided to move to Orlando for a career opportunity for her. I will miss working with Provident very much. If you are

I have recently started working as a personal care assistant for Provident Home Healthcare and have previous certified nursing assistant training and experience. When I met the owners, Mitch and Ramona I wasn't applying for a position at their company. Mitch, ever focused on finding the best people to care for his clients, said he had a specific client or two that he felt I would work well with. His passion, commitment and enthusiasm for what he does, providing excellent and dependable care for those in need was so apparent that I agreed to take a PCA position.

Working for Provident has been the best decision of my life and for my mental health. The owners are very personable, and I have never felt so appreciated at a company. Everyone I have encountered in the office has been very friendly, the work environment is positive and staffing is flexible and able to work with you and your schedule. I feel like I was meant to meet and work with every single one of my clients. I have a good variety in my schedule and I never have a shortage of hours. If you are a nurse looking for full or even part time PRN work, I would highly recommend working for this company

When we signed on to have Provident provide 24 hour nursing services for my sister, what they offered sounded too good to be true. But it wasn't. They provided superb coverage, provided wonderful and caring nurses, and let us bring the nurses that we wanted along. The nurses were happy with Provident as an employer; they were given benefits that they didn't have before. Provident worked to find good fit personnel to work with my sister, both professionally and personality wise. The nurses were well trained and eager to learn specific skills to best care for my sister. The staff was always reachable

Hello my name is Evelline Tchuente and I have been a caretaker at Provident for almost a year now and this institute is one of the most highly recommended places to entrust your loved ones with, in my personal opinion. They offer excellent care and the patients always are given the utmost respect. The staff as a whole are really charismatic and understanding, and the company offers flexible schedules fitting for the nurses but they always make sure their is enough staff on hand to accommodate the needs of the patients. This company has treated me well thus far and the way I see them honor their

I have enjoyed working as a home health nurse for Provident! The office staff/company owners make it feel like a family atmosphere. Mitch (owner/supervisor/ staffer) is truly the best boss I have ever had! He is very friendly and cares genuinely about his employees and the clients. Scheduling is flexible however every other weekend and every other holiday are required (like any other nursing job). The office staff and Mitch are always there for their employees and clients and if there is a dilemma they work with you to fix it. Provident prides themselves on keeping all of the clients hours covered
