I am absolutely obsessed with Roslyn at Americo's Hair Salon. Never before (in my 26 years of life) had I had a "hairdresser". People always talk about their "hairdresser" and how they couldn't go to anyone else. I never had that.... that is until I met Roslyn! The first time I got my hair done by Roslyn, she took the inspiration photo I showed her and explained how that would look on me, and sought out if I liked the thought of it and if I wanted to change anything about it. Rick has been cutting my hair since we moved to Scottsdale. He is an excellent hair stylist and colorist. He is also good with men's hair and children's. He is very reasonable and professional. The shop is clean, welcoming, and friendly.

I have been going to Americo’s for 10+ years. Rick Cosentino is an amazing stylist and is up to date on all styles. I have my hair cut and colored every 6 weeks and about twice a year I have highlights done. My husband and I lived in Scottsdale and have retired to Sun City and I would make the trip into Scottsdale because Rick is the only one I would let style my hair.
The salon is very nice and the people there are very friendly.

Angela is the best ever!! I was working in Phoenix for 3 years and saw someone's color who I loved who went to her. I have long layered hair and get ash blonde highlights. Everyone else seems to always give me gold which I hate! I was with her for 3 years and now that my project has ended and I had to go home to Florida I am struggling to find someone new that can do as good of a job.

for a half hour later!
Perfect timing!
I can see how some may feel their hair is 'chopped' with the technique Roslyn uses to provide a haircut with SHEARS.
I, am unfortunately not a fan, but to each their own.
I am actually VERY UPSET with my hair, (and uneven/or longer than other side pieces), and have been keeping it in a hat outside of home, as well as in an awkward ponytail at home/with family -
Even on Mother's Day, with our big get-together

I've been searching for a great hairstylist for many years to no avail. Angela @ Americo's finally broke the search...She is so fantastic! I could tell the moment we started talking that things were gonna look up for me and my hair. Hair for me is my most self conscience issue and I was starting to loose confidence that I would ever have beautiful hair again. Angela knows her products extremely well and what works for someone. I have extremely curly dry hair and being in Arizona's dry climate doesn't help. I had a base, highlights and a smoothing treatment done and my hair looks 10 years younger

Erika is amazing!!! She took my hair from shoulder length, to a pixie cut; and it turned out FREAKING AMAZING! And she made absolute sure it was what i wanted to prevent that old hair cut remorse. Their prices are great for the area, and the whole shop was so friendly!! 10/10!
