Norwood House Apartments

This has been my home for the last 3 years, and I love it! Safe, quiet, and convenient place to live! It’s near great business center where you can find good stores, hospitals, and schools. The office workers are always prompt to help you! Maintenance guys are great! The few times that I needed them, in less than 30 minutes, they were here to help! I super recommend Norwood Apartments!

The only "improvements" made during our two years living here were removal of the storage units we originally paid for, to be told we would get a nicer laundry room. We never got said room and instead got new washers and dryers that cost more money per load. Thanks Norwood. Power also goes out a lot here. You can find much better for your money.

It's a nice place to live. You can walk downtown to Downingtown pretty easily using the (Absolutely beautiful) Struble trail and have fun that way or you can easily get to shopping in Exton. It loses some points for being ever so slightly noisy since it is close to US-30 and it is in need of some work on the outsides of the apartment buildings. But the rent is in line with what one expects and the apartments are spacious. Awful place to live, office people have attitude, they treats you like they own the place and they are doing you favor, always problem and they try to blame you for everything. I don't recommend this place to nobody.

For the rent you pay, I think you get a decent return. The buildings are older and as such you deal with some wear and tear and older cosmetics inside the units. They should begin renovating units and they need to have better office hours. However, the community overall is quiet with minimal issues and while maintenance can be a little slow at times, they usually do get the job done. As a transitional place or pit stop onto other places, I think Norwood is a decent option.

I lived here for a full year, and while I enjoyed it at first, by the end I was glad to be out. We ended up having mice and ants even though we kept the place clean.
Our AC units kept breaking, and maintenance staff was very rude and condescending. Instead of fixing the AC, they just said "keep it on this setting and it should be fine", it still kept breaking down. They don't schedule maintenance appointments, so they would just walk in at random times. Sometimes the same day, sometimes two days later at 8 a.m. We never knew when they would show up. We have lived here for nearly 10 years. At first, it was pretty run down and office staff over the years could be quite rude and non helpful. In the past year though, Norwood House Apartments has completely turned themselves around. They have begun renovating units, buildings, landscaping etc. Is this a luxury apartment complex? No...hence why the rent is somewhat lower than others.
So for the rent that you pay, overall you get a good quality living. My only complaint would be about maintenance. The maintenance guys are very nice...however nearly every time they come out to fix something, they
