The Lāhainā location is much better and the service is faster and nicer. We appreciate the attempt at Mexican food in Kahului, but we think there may be better in the area. The margarita was huge but had absolutely no taste. We'll probably keep going because one person in the family enjoys the enchiladas.

We were looking for something to remind us of home in Texas and found Amigo’s. It’s hard to go up against real Tex-Mex but this comes pretty close and won’t destroy your wallet. Between the four of us we had a wet burrito plate, various hard shell tacos, and a burrito bowl. All declared it was good stuff and walked away happy. I think you’ll think the same.

We were so glad we found this place. Bailed on another place before this as we walked up to the door. Ordered an assortment of tacos. Grilled chicken taco might be the best I’ve ever had. Just perfect. The covid restrictions were a pain, just being honest. Seems like half the restaurants have no restrictions while the other half enforced the rules. This place enforced the rules. Required a Vax card along with ID just to go in. Not used to that where we live. All was fine. Found a picture I took of my card and we were let in. Had a great meal. The servers were extremely nice. Food was fantastic

For the 45 minute wait for takeout this place was not worth it in my opinion. Requiring folks to show vaccine card or neg.test slowed their service substantially and although I saw their banners about being the best Mexican food on Maui, I would never again wait that time for that food. The portions of rice and beans with my taco plate were quite small and the chicken in my taco had 0 flavor. It was like eating shredded boiled chicken. Maybe an off night but who knows.

I am disappointed to the point that we will no longer be returning. My boyfriend and I have both had experiences on seperate occassions where a part of our order is missing. We would think that the service they provide while servicing customers in the restaurant would be the same for their paying customers who order to-go. It's a hit or miss and at the end of the day, you can take that chance.. but in our opinion, save your money and go elsewhere.

One of the first restaurants we tried in Maui - There was no wait time and so we were seated right away. You get free chips and salsa and then if you wanted additional guacamole and quest, there was that option as well. I got the chicken tortilla soup, which was okay but not the best soup I've had. However, the smoothies were the best and tastiest smoothies I've ever tried in my life! Don't know what they put in it but definitely get it when you're at this restaurant...but don't get it to-go. We loved these smoothies so much that we got them the next day to-go but even

Was craving a California burrito for breakfast today for some reason. Wanted a wet California burrito, so ordered that for take out. It was pretty good! The portion was large too. Fairly pricey for a CA burrito, but what isn't here on the island? Overall, quick and easy pickup process. No complaints.

We decided to swing by Amigos tonight for a family dinner. It was a Friday around 8 pm.
The host was very friendly and promptly seated us as soon as we walked in. It seems like we routinely get seated at the booth in the very back. It's a pretty cramped space...but it's also private so I can't complain. The place was hopping. Quite a few tables seated. Especially full was their outdoor seating. Great Covid protocols. All employees masked up. Great job.

This place is really the closest I've found to back home in Cali..great mixture of food and there is also a bar..they have menudo and pezole on weekends..kid friendly menu with non Mexican items.fries nuggets and burgers...this is my go to Mexican spot ....the mood is typical Mexican restaurant vibes...music and a couple of tvs. The workers are really friendly and service is always good

Called in my order and spoke to a sweet girl on the kisser end of the phone, I asked her for a order to go she said okay. I placed mmt order a Carne Asada taco salad with no beans. Okay I asked how long she said about 10 minutes. YAY. I sent my mama in to get my order and she came out with a paoer bag. I was excited to try this out for the first time.

Went here for breakfast because I know they serve breakfast or lunch all day long. The taco/enchilada combo was great. Taco was crispy and not a store bought shell. The green salsa is always on point (spicy) I wanted the chilaquiles but decided on the combo. Also washed it down with their morning happy hour. $4 screw driver and bloody Mary and $6 mimosas. Not too shabby. The service was quick and friendly. I was actually surprised to see the amount of customers they had so early in the morning.
