Over 45 years ago, Sierra Vista pioneered the way for the Sierra Foothills when it purchased it's property in 1972. Once the land was cleared, the first vineyard was planted in 1974. Mais Fica is a small, family-owned vineyard and winery in the Sierra Nevada foothills. We produce Rhone style wines, exclusively, from our Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah grapes. Holly's Hill, a serene retreat in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, has planted its vineyards exclusively to the varieties of France's Rhone Valley. The enthusiasm for Rhone varieties at Holly's Hill started when Tom and Holly Cooper (owners) shared their first bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape on their honeymoon.
