We do carpet cleaning, re-painting, and an overall cleaning of the apartment before each move-in. Emergencies are handled immediately. All other service requests are handled in a timely manner and in order in which they are received. Yes, hanging pictures and other decorations is encouraged! If you would like to paint your apartment you will need to check with the Property Manager first.

I was very interested possibly renting from Fieldstream Apt by the ads and incentives. But had reservations on day of my "own" tour then call them and see what questions they can answers after I have left the grounds...odd. Also, the $1200 sign on bonus is not real but is advertised boldly. Also rent is higher than the virtual apt that you look at to rent. It is a shadey concept. I am glad to have read the other aad reviews and knew by talking to management she was not on top of her game with promotion or truth. Going with a better company

I have recently moved out of the Fieldstream Apartment Homes community and I am so thankful that I did. I was a resident there for a year and a half before relocating. My interactions with the Fieldstream staff were rude, unhelpful and honestly pretty disrespectful regardless of the circumstances. I have never lived somewhere that has countless communication inefficiencies and poor customer service. There was a time where my ceiling was leaking and both the walls and carpet were soaked for a month before anybody took the time to properly fix it. It wasn't until after numerous calls and reaching

Great experience. Clean and spacious. Maintenance speedy although only had one issue when temperatures very low(furnace). Awesome features that include washer/dryer in the unit, doorbell, and mailboxes inside your building. Free fitness center and pool. There’s also a recycling area. The grounds/complex is kept up. Parking is plentiful and was never an issue. I lived on ground level and my electric/gas bill was $45 a month for a 2 bed/2 bath unit! Would recommend as one of the most bang for your buck in Ankeny.

I applied to rent here and told them that my move in date would be the 28th. I have 2 emotional support animals which they required extra paperwork for. My doctors office signed and faxed it back to them. I didn't hear anything from them so i called and they said they didn't receive the paperwork. I had my doctors office fax it again and called them back again and they received it that time and proceeded to tell me that they found the one that got faxed that morning. I called them this morning to be told that we wouldn't be able to move in on the 29th the day after i said we needed to be moved

I've been here just over a year. Here are my notes.
Pros:
Grounds crew is incredible. Constantly working hard, cleaning the water, and keeping the grass well-grown.
Maintenance has arrived same day as I called.
Quiet.
Cons:
Room: Cheap appliances (cupboards not sanded, I've cut myself twice).
Gym: Smith machine is broken more often than not.
The one bench is flimsy. You'll want to hand-tighten the screws before/during use, and you'll still be wobbly like a fish.
New manager put lock on thermostat so it gets very hot at times.
Management: No

I have lived here at Fieldstream for a couple months now. The apartment itself, the pool, and the grounds are great! All in great condition, spacious, and excellent value for the price. However, my fiance and I will likely not be renewing our lease next year due to some of the office staff. On a few occasions, we have gone in to the office and have been treated with poor customer service. They have acted as though they are too busy for us or that we are bothering them. Also, be sure to get any offers that they give you in writing. We were told we would get a discount once a document was presented
