Nostalgia Ale House & Wine bar is proud to offer food and drinks to Malta where we bake our own meats, use our own gravy recipies, parmigiana dishes, marinara recipes from Grandma. The chili is homemade and thick as we serve it on our nachos with all fresh ingredients, no cheese from a can. Plenty of fish items to choose from such as fried fish tacos to lemon crusted salmon.
Some examples of our chef specialty dishes would be open faced NY strip steak sandwich with a side garden salad. We have served lobster ravioli shrimp scampi, lobster and crab macaroni and cheese, pan seared duck with a blueberry demi glaze, duck chowder with a dollop of blueberry sauce, mahi mahi with mango topping, just to name a few.
4 TV's at the bar and with 3 lounges behind it all having a view of the TV's. The center room houses 3 additional TV's with 2 dartboards, and 2 pool tables to kick back and play while watching the games. At Nostalgia Ale House & Wine Bar we are focused on providing savory flavors to the pallet in a relaxed casual atmosphere with the highest levels of customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

A fine outdoor experience with a few good plates. Don't think I'd go back for outdoor drinks or dining. That said, inside looked cool with Halloween decorations so maybe that would have been more fun.
Hang ups around the menu not being up to date and the view not exactly being of anything on the lake. For a better View Drive a few minutes up the road to Carson's. They also have TVs for football and fire pits for the cooler days.
They seemed unaware of the specials advertised on their website too. But the staff was kind - good people.

The mystery of Malta, truly a hidden gem. My daughter and son recently decided to take me to dinner in Malta. I have never been there before although it's only half an hour from where we live. The experience felt like the drive was different from other places in New York State. Beauty, calmness and roads so different that I thought for sure we would get lost. Both our burgers were overcooked and dripping in grease . The fries were undercooked and hard in the middle. We told the server about the fries and she took them away with apologies. She brought them back to the table 2 minutes later in the same condition.
The chef said that because they were hand-cut fries that that is how they were.... he would burn them if he cooked them anymore !!
Obviously the term chef does not really apply too well here.... Worst meal I have had in years. :-(.

Great chef. Very clever use of a menu.Friendly staff and good service.My only issue was our server didnt use bar speak and i had to repeat my drink order and ask twice for my shot."Black Jack,Mick Ultra back".Simple.I really believe that the karaoke DJ meant well but lost control of his gear so it was "quiet"for too long.lol.

Terrible experience. We were there for Mother's Day. When the 5 of us arrived at 4:00 there were 2 tables being waited on. The waitress greeted us and took a drink order. She came back and took our food order. Nothing too difficult, a salad, fried foods and a burger. The 2 other tables finished up and left.

Nice outdoor seating on the lake. Staff was very friendly. Our order was taken quickly and drinks came right out. Food was delicious but took almost an hour to come out. People sitting near us came in 45 minutes after we did & got their app before our dinner came out. (We did not order an app so our food order should have gone right in). Since we had an early morning we were hoping to eat quick & get back to our hotel. Would go back for the food but on a day when we had time to wait for our food.

We ended up there on Easter Sunday...(and we were the only ones there). because we were busy cleaning and painting all day. The ribs I had were excellent, and melted in your mouth tender. The fried fisherman's plate was plentiful and the coconut shrimp delish. The waitress/bartender was bubbly and attentive. We will be back!

One of the best food I've had! Their appetizers are to die for!!!!!! And so are their cocktails. You get a beautiful view of the lake. The interior is also pretty cool with old tv and handset telephones. The waitress Joy was also really nice and made sure we were enjoying the food. AND THEIR PORTIONS ARE HUGE. Worth every penny

If I could give a zero star review, I would. I ordered food from this restaurant through DoorDash and the driver was only given half of my order. When I called the restaurant to see what their solution to remedy the situation was, I was told I could come pick the rest of the order up- even though I had just paid to have it delivered and it was their fault half of the food was missing. When I asked for a refund for the missing items, I was told "I don't know how to do that, you can call back tomorrow and talk to a manager" and, after expressing my obvious dissatisfaction at not only

Good food, reasonable prices, nice outdoor seating, friendly service, casual environment. No place in Saratoga takes reservations for outdoor seating and this restaurant t was easily available. They have a very exciting and extensive cocktail menu. The Kentucky punch was excellent . There is a view of the lake but is not very close. Still it is nice.

If you're looking for a memorable Valentine's Day dinner this is the place. But not for the reasons you'd typically expect. My wife and I wet here for a night away from the kids. She ordered the french onion soup which looked good and pasta with scallops. I ordered a Caesar salad and NY strip medium, this is where everything fell apart. Pro tip for the chef, the last scraps center of a head of romaine lettuce is bitter, don't serve it. Unless of course you have a really good Caesar dressing to maybe mask it a little and you're ok with cutting corners. Your dressing is

Ordered fish tacos for takeout, and, frankly, wasn't sure if this was their forte, or not, but what a surprise when they arrived: Two huge, stuffed semi-soft tortilla shells full of good stuff, and just the right amount of seasoning and spice. Will come back for those babies again, and maybe do it in-restaurant with a cold beer.

I went for dinner and drinks on their Trivia night on Thursday. I ordered the Doc's pear hard cider and a Ruben. Both were fantastic! One of the best Rubens I have had in the area. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth! Wait staff was very attentive and trivia was so much fun. The restaurant's décor is very old fashioned with a ton of things to look at and reminisce. They have seating with huge windows right on the lake with awesome views. I would defiantly go back.

My husband and I went here recently for Valentines Day. Nostalgia is a great name! Very intriguing atmosphere. Very friendly service! There is even a Wendy behind the bar, I like the name . Their food is amazing! We got two full course meals for $90. Make sure and give their chicken wings a try and order them grilled, extra crispy! We need delved into a game of trivia with the crowd. It made for a great evening!! We will be back. It's nostalgic

What a big disappointment, waitress was wonderful , food was over cooked in fryer clearly but they served it anyway ! We have ben coming here last few years stopped for awhile do to bad clams being served as well, we gave it another chance last night , no thank you , so sorry this little gem is all done !! We had a flight of local brew and this was a real treat - 4 x 4 oz of a range of ales, lagers and belgian-style beer.
My fish and chips were very good, batter was perfectly crunchy but not too oily. The codfish could've been a little bit more succulent if it weren't slightly overcooked, but the chips were excellent, crunchy and well seasoned.
A good place for a quick meal on the road.

Was actually SUPER surprised. Was kinda meh about wanting to go, but my boyfriend convinced me. The decor is odd, kinda old school music-y, the table decor is odd but the food was delicious. I got the mahi-mahi, and my boyfriend got their french dip sandwhich which he LOVED. was a great meal all and all. Have to look past the decor but its a great place for a great meal.

Tried out this place for the first time tonight. The food was great. Ordered the wings,salmon, and linguini with clam sauce. I liked how all the little sides of dressing or cheese were in mason jars, it seemed to be their theme. Very cool wine glass too! I have two improvements for this establishment. 1. Rotate your music selection outside, not everyone wants to listen to country all night. 2. Clean your bathroom, please. Overall, a good place for a bite to eat on the lake.
