Services
There are no fees to join BbG! The only thing you "join" is a group of other fun outdoor fitness enthusiasts. We're all here for the same reasons; to get in shape, to stay physically fit, to challenge ourselves and to connect with nature. Most of our exercisers pay a monthly fee of $135. This entitles our clients to attend any class that we offer, any location, any time.
Ginny: Recently, when I was going on vacation, Annie volunteered to lead the Lewsinsville group in exercise. I sent her the workouts and she happily counted out the reps and kept the class moving. She shows up just about every Tuesday and Thursday for class -- rain or shine. If she has an obligation that interferes with our class Annie always lets me know ahead of time and of course class just isn't the same without her!
Using only free weights (5-15 pounds) and your own body weight, we mix it up with a multitude of combinations to make you stronger and help develop better muscle definition. Most clients begin with five pound weights and quickly move up to eight or ten. We use every combination imaginable so your body never knows what to expect and never gets used to a particular routine.
Over 35 easy, healthful recipes in 5 categories including Beans, Animal Proteins, Vegetables and Grains, Soup and Smoothies. Planning and creating nutritious meals will take a lot less time when you use our WrightWay Meal plans. We've put together easy to follow plans including daily meals and snacks.
Make gradual, sustainable changes. Extreme diets don't promote good health, you rarely feel good on them and you can't sustain them. Our focus should be on consuming the most nutritious foods in their most natural state: Think food from the earth. Eat as many dark leafy greens as you can starting at breakfast.

BbG Fitness has been around for 10+ years. Ginny and her team are still by far the best around. Full body workouts mixed with cardio - it doesn’t get any better! I LOVE that the workouts are outside, there’s literally nothing better than starting your day, as the sun is rising, getting in a good sweat. Thank you BbG!!!

I've been a BbG client since the beginning. Why? I love to exercise outside. Since I sit/stand in front of a computer all day, exercising in a gym or in front of a tv or computer screen would not be good. Mostly though it's the instructors-Ginny of course, is an amazing, motivating instructor as is Tammy, Amy and Christa. They come prepared, they care and it shows. AND it never gets easier... that's a good thing. Finally, all the wonderful friends I've made throughout the years who continue to inspire and motivate me.

Highly recommend! Body by Ginny/BbG Fitness has been part of my life for nearly 17 years, 3 days a week. In all of that time I have never done the same workout twice! Every class is different and focuses on a different muscle group. She and her instructors always provide variations--from most difficult to easiest, which is why she has class participants ranging from teens (coming with a parent) to women who are nearly 80! Her philosophy is to work to the best of your ability and focus on good form, not speed or difficulty. Her classes are always welcoming for "newbies". I love that her classes

I joined BbG when it was no longer safe to go to the gym. I fully expected to be a short term, fair weather participant, but I treasure the time outdoors, event on the coldest of days. BbG classes are well planned, well executed and very effective. I'm a convert!

Exercising with BbG has been my sanity during this unprecedented year. I love starting my day outdoors with like-minded folks. The workouts are challenging and fun. Each class is different so it does not feel repetitive. Some days I am very motivated to push myself. Other days seeing others push themselves is my motivator. I highly recommend exercising with BbG!

I started doing Ginny’s outdoor boot camp class 6 months after my twins (now 6 years old) were born, and have never looked back. It’s great to be outdoors (yes, even in the winter), the workouts are challenging but Ginny and the other instructors are great about offering modifications, and it’s just a nice, friendly group of fellow exercisers. Highly recommend checking out a class!

I've been a BbG client for almost 20 years, keeping me fit and strong as I've gotten older. But especially this past year during quarantine, Ginny's awesome online workouts and in-person socially distanced classes outside following County guidelines have been crucial for my and so many other BbG'ers mental and physical health. I have been attending this boot camp on and off for around 3 years now. I used to live in Arlington so the classes were very convenient. There are a large variety of locations and times. Once you pay the monthly fee (which is very affordable!) you can go to any of the classes. My favorite instructor is the owner, Ginny Wright, but all of the instructors are amazing. They push you just the right amount without it being discouraging. After 3 months of consecutively taking this class I had great definition in my arms, legs, and most importantly, abs! BbG Fitness (aka body by ginny) is a great total body workout. Every workout I've been to has been super challenging, fun and different from the one before. This hard core group exercises outside year-round. The instructors are all very professional and knowledgable and have been with Ginny for at least 8 years and the company has been around for over 13 years.... way before Crossfit and hot yoga. BbG also runs a Total Wellness Challenge, designed by Ginny who is also a health coach, three times a year. If you're looking to get healthy inside and out give BbG a try. You won't be

This was my very first bootcamp this past fall which I found through Groupon. I absolutely love the workouts and the instructors. Working out in the wee hours of the morning are tough, but the trainers make it worth it. They are incredibly friendly and challenge me to do my best, even if I dread those evil planks and pushups. Each workout is different and offered at various locations and times throughout Arlington and McLean. After dealing with a foot injury this past winter/spring, I plan on heading back to Body by Ginny in the fall!
